What kind of pest burrows?

First full size grow outdoors.. after my 2nd dose of azamax to fight down spider mite problem, I found this spot. Looks like something burrowed into my Northern Lights Auto... should I just cut and burn with fire? Never seen this one before

I've never seen anything like that before. If you cut the main stalk below the infestation does it leave you much plant mass?

Right... its might be a throwaway.. not much left if I cut it off
Wait a bit and see if anyone who's seen that before chimes in here. It seems like it's a bad risk to keep her if you have other plants around. Good luck with her.

Stem borer cut that branch off below the hole, You can try to slice the stem an find it nothing to lose now if you got other plants i would be checking them an spraying with spinosad asap.
