What type of kid were you?

I was a quiet, shy, well behaved kid. I hated getting into trouble
This is quite a weird thread but I'm bored I do my best thinking when I'm bored

I was the skinny punker with blue hair. Was constantly pissed off, poor, and drunk. Had exactly zero friends.

Kindergarten genius, middle school punching bag, junior high school dropout, federal institution.

Germ free adolescent, closet homosexual, retro revolutionary, unexploded A-bomb.....

I was a very strange kid who lived mostly in my imagination, now i live on the internet which is almost the same
I hated playing sports but i did a lot of hiking and biking, activities where i was alone with my thoughts
I desperatly wanted a computer from the day i could talk until i finnaly got one as a teenager, my parents felt it was more important to sign me up for baseball every year which i hated and was terrible at and made zero effort to try and be good at, the other kids on the team hated me, but somehow in my parents eyes it was bette for me to do that then to hang out with kids from school who shared my interests and were actually my friends
Now as a adult i still think everyone hates me and generaly avoid social situations

@Adjorr - Your parents were idiots. You were/are perfect. They imposed their fascist "team player" doctrine on
an extremely vulnerable, and amazing young individual. Forced to live up to the standards they set, how could one
possibly achieve self-realization? Let alone skills to interact with ones own kind. If that even exists as a kid anymore.

yea i try and avoid social situations thats why i just stay indo all day and read this forum. it sucks i have no friends and i am a janitor at a grocery store

Yeah when I was quite young maybe 8 or 10 I lived near a secondary school/high school Every time I walked past it I would feel all shy and try to hide myself.

Mixed race so I never really fit in anywhere and my parents moved a lot when I was young so I didn't stay in any one school long enough to make good friends.

Remember the presidential fitness program for us kids back in the day? I loved that program as a kid for some reason. Had a fascination with fire/matches and redline bmx bikes back then. Oh and there was the parachute pants break dancing phase too lmao.

worked since age 13 till age 40 as a kid I was always outside.. we had an entire forest behind our house in CT.. we explored this continually.. place was really interesting had rock walls all over from the 1700's + and we lived in Military housing so there were plenty of kids around all the time..

Wwe walked everywhere back then and were always exploring.. Lived so close to so many cool historic things we wanted to see what else we could find that was forgotten about.. Hills near an old folks home housed ammo dumps and an indoor skating ring from the early 1800's plenty of caves and got to explore Fort Griswold area

We did the normal kids stuff.. organized sports and games to play with the kids we hung out with.. use to fish all the time under the New London bridge.. spent a few nights in Gungywamp..

my fokes made me go to a catholic school. I was really fatand refused to tuck in my shirt and the teacher said infront of everone "Tuck it in or I'll tuck it in for you" that scarred me emotionaly and also pisycologoclolly. Also when I was in such school a older kid peeked over the toilet when I make a poo. from then on I was scarred and never used the toilet at school I used to poo my pants and the teacher would say " has anyone got something to tell me" out really loud that scarred me and also my dad beat my mum and he drank and gamble, I went to jail at 13 and no-body other kid liked me but a black kid who sort of protected me and changed my pre coinceved racist attitude. I am a very messed up adult and unemployed but I want to be a good grower. my idle is uncle buck and I have a friend called mr the express hes cool
