What type of kid were you?

i was a great kid tbh.. never a problem, super shy though. didn't have any what i'd call true friends.. tried the usual sports as a kid, and pretty much sucked at them all..
around the same age as clayton, 13 or so, i found skateboarding and punk rock music and my life was never the same.. one day was riding my skate board and met this much older kid who skated.. he was probably around 19 or so, and he had the biggest single influence on my life.. took me to my first show, found thrasher magazine, and never looked back..
in high school i was super quiet too.. got good grades, and never missed a day in 4 years.. it wasn't until i got into my 20s and i found coke that my life quickly went down hill.. :(

like, and pretty much the same for me, minus mom throwing me out of course cuz i'm not trying to be a bad ass. :D

Not trying to be a bad ass. It was horrible. I was a straight A student. It stunted my social growth, I mean look at me, just look at me! It really did set me back a decade on everything. Like Kinetic, I was a very compassionate kid, but had to learn to fight.

if you still got that deck clayton hit me up, i'd buy it from you.. :D

I wish! My mom sold it for $40 the first time I went to jail. Indy trucks and OJ's....... I loved that deck

I was expelled from Kindergarten, I kid you not.

And it got worse from there...always in trouble for everything.
I got my first paddling in kindergarten. Some kid took the toy I was playing with, so I punched him. My dad is/was a 1% er, he taught me to fight and not to take shit from no one. Because of this up bringing I've been fighting my whole life. Finally settled down in the last 5 years. Now I'd rather use cannabis and listen to reggae music.

I was always getting into shit as a kid. Was able to graduate high school one year early because I was pretty good at school. Joined the Corps at 17 in 1988. Got out in 1992 after one war and hundreds of whores. Got lucky and ended up with an awesome job. Should be able to retire with full benefits and pension in 10 or so years. I'll be early 50's then.

Only child, parents split when I was 8,my senior year was 90.went from being a jock to ski bum.in high school I was a typical 80's teen rock'n the mullet wearing rock shirts or tye dyes.i got along with all the groups never bullied people or got bullied.18-21 were growing pains, many nights and weekends in jail, never hurt people or stole just a dumb partier who didn't take care of shit that catches up and inconveniences a night or so,thank god those days are gone!

The details of my life are quite inconsequential....Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.

Was a loser as a kid. Always had an over-inflated sense of self worth, and felt like the world revolved around me. In reality, I was never really good at anything, and wasted my childhood. Now i'm still a loser, and i'm not really good for anything.

But at least I know i'm a worthless piece of shit now, instead of thinking that my life meant something.
