What would be standard police procedure, if they discovered my grow?

Please explain:

You can check the trees for infrared lasers with a camera phone. This will show if there is a laser trigger camera in the trees.... Test it on your TV remote.

Hello all, I'm a novice in the midst of my first grow. Been lurking on these boards for a while just reading and learning but this is my first time posting.

Basically I have reason to believe that police have discovered my grow.
Not concrete evidence, but there's a strong possibility. I don't want to go into details, for obvious reasons.

Obviously the best thing to do is to let it cool off and stay way clear of that area for as long as possible, but the problem is that my plants are JUST about to show their sex, so semi-frequent trips are very necessary (especially because this is my first grow, and I'm not extremely confident in my ability to sex the plants).

So what I want to know is, what do you think the police would do? Am I going to go back and just find everything gone, and then read about it in the paper in a few days? Do you think that police would actually wait around for a grower to return? Will there be traps/surveillance? Am I just high and paranoid?

If I were in your shoes, first thing I would do is wait for rainy dark night, wear a ski mask just in case they have trail cameras go in check see if they are still there.

I can't say you won't get busted but the odds are against it. There may be some but I have never known of a case where a person has been busted for just growing for personal use. If you are growing as a business and you are found out, stop!

The average cop could care less. Most marijuana charges are on a why not basis. For example, if the cops come for a domestic event and see it in you home, you will get charged since they are there anyway.

Things are changing. In Texas, it is now legal to grow hemp. A good defense attorney will make the county prove that it is cannabis and not marijuana. Then the state will have to test the substance to prove it is marijuana. It is expensive to run tests that will stand up in court. So far, that has proved to be a successful defense.

The District Attorney's office doesn't have unlimited resources so they try the cases they can easily win. This is why plea bargains are so popular. Jails are overcrowded so if there is a good chance they will lose the case, you will be offered a tempting plea offer. Then if your attorney demonstrates that he is going to make a career out of making the state spend money to do get a conviction, the charges will be dropped. When the cops come offer the donuts.

what i would do, is go to your spot at night...if they have cameras set up, you will see a flash and know where the camera is. then smash it, take the film and dump it far away. then you can safely move your plants far from that area. so yeah, just go at night, its safer that way.

Flash? Film?!?!?

LOL y'all made that a really good read. You get busted when you piss off your old lady really bad, otherwise you are most always as in 98% of the time safe. But always remember Lawyers are the laziest bastards of all times, and I got this info from reading High Times.
