Whats Good TO Bulk Up Yours Buds?

made the mistake of listening to someone who probobaly dident know much about nutes, been using DNF bloom nutrients so far they dont seem to be doing anything, im on day 40 of flower and they look skinny and miserable, is there anyting i can add quickly to bulk em up?

GET the light as close as possible without burning your leaves or buds... Increase air flow and have a fan blowing directly at your light - at a slight upward angel so that the light can be less than 1 foot from the foliage...

If you are using CFLs then the lights should be lessthan 1 inch...

LUMENS play the largest role in BUD size!

lol no has nothing to do with that my main plants almost 9 ft tall and 3 ft wide\

posted the link above your post........there in the ground i usualy water every 4-5 days now that summers over, i mean theres tons of buds there just small like my main cola is the size of a broom stick :S not very big at all, i hope they bulk out soon its getting later and later

I see.... beautiful plants... gentics i think... FDD has 16 monsters.. and 2 of them that are 9 ft tall are just genetically inferior when it comes to producing WEIGHT..

you plants look really healthy..so i just have to assume it is gentics.. what did fdd say?

i think thats mainly what im comparing mine to as i havent seen any other on this site the size of his, mine seem similiar, jus not in bud producing way, im guessing its strain related, he just said they should bulk out soon im hoping they do, :S ill be happy with what i get

Have you tried the use of molasses or additive like sweet or carbo load to your water? Maybe even sugar daddy or Sweat Leaf can help. I know Humbodlt County nutes like gravity or or even purple max can help add some bulk and crystals.

ahh comon bro!.. your plants look nice... i thought mine were bad too.. the colas were small and all of a sudden a lot of my leafs turned yellow and BOOM the buds trippled in size.. then a small frost came and made them even bigger. i think you just need to be paitent

my raft just started to fill in the last 2 days. all the other ones are just starting to blow up. i have 1 that started fluffy but is really tightening up the last 2 weeks. i don't believe in anything but genetics anymore. i have done as little as possible to my plants and the growth is amazing. i am assuming i just have good genetics.

I started using foxfarm beastie bloom on my outdoor plants and noticed a difference in a few days. The branches are having trouble holding the buds straight up now. Im gonna go get the cha-ching they reccomend for the finishing touch if the branches dont hit the ground by then.

if your haveing the same fall weather as western canada,were it is cold and raining all the time,it is hard for the buds to put on weight,we need our indian summer and every thing will be fine.

yeah fdd is right, genetics are what its all about. you can make small differences with nute additives but if they dont bulk naturally then u really cant "bulk them up" without the use of dm phosphoload. thats the only product ive used that made a BIG difference, and use with caution as this product will stop all vertical groth, but make ROCK HARD buds.


a good base nutrient supply should bulk up your plants nicley without any additives as long as your growing condition is good.
