When/How Much Defoliation?

Could be my water has changed over time as i havent had it tested recently.?

But i just cant give my plants something that is fucking them up lol

I was hoping for green leaves all the way through flower. I will achieve it someday, but it seems today is not that day.

On a positive note, I've never seen this much trich production this early in flower...

That is pretty close to what happend to my plants running advanced

Even though i have switched 2 of the plants still show this i dont know if its because there is still advanced stuck to the roots or what but it pisses me off too:)

The purple/red stems I'm getting on the affected leaves lead me towards a Calcium or Mag deficiency. In my new 5 gallons I mixed earlier, I decided to check the PPM of each nutrient I added:

PPM guide for AN Trio @ 3/ml per liter:
(into 5 gallons)

Starting PPM of RO Water: 10

30 ml GH Calimagic: 550 PPM (+540)
1 TBSP Epsom Salt: 710 PPM (+160)
60 ml AN Micro: 1060 PPM (+350)
60 ml AN Grow: 1300 PPM (+240)
60 ml AN Bloom: 1480 PPM (+180)

That's all I use. I stopped using my Hydroguard since it's way past 6 months since opening, but I was using 2/ml gal of that previously.

Thread has gone way off topic, but this is fun too.

I'm pretty sure this is a mag deficiency.

Yea i dunno i tired a foiliar of calmag and it didnt help
My plants that where using the advanced only 2 show deficiency and the other 2 not so much and they are in the same system so im chaulking it up to shit bagseed lol

But us outdoor folks have to wade thru the indoor info for some stuff to glean out. Just not enough outdoor folks yet. Now that home growing is becoming legal in many states, I expect this situation to change. I'm So.Ca. so the amount of sun is only a problem when it's too much (too hot). I'm reluctant to trim as heavily as any of these indoor pics but I consider myself a long way from knowing just how much, where and when to cut. Last year my least trimmed plant not only was the top producer, but also the most potent. (It was LST'd into a spiral, my favorite technique). This year, a fungus has caused a great deal of leaf loss on the effected plants. A poor test though as the fungus will have had a permanent effect on the vitality of the plant. SOOO still guessing.

Indeed, I get all the sun that I need from dawn to dusk exposure hill top setting. I do remove lower inner leaves that get little light, weak or late secondary branch-lets and of course dead or dying leaves (now waiting for dying leaves to wilt as the advice that as long as the leaf is mostly green, its still producing chlorophyll).
