white bugs in soil

help i found white bugs in soil what can i do about it they showed up over the past week the plants seem ok so far but like to get rid of them how

will they hurt the plants and do i try and stick all of them or just let the sticky strips take care of them

they are tiny? live in your soil and come out when you water? if they jump kinda like a flea then they are springtails and the are actually beneficial to your soil so dont bother trying to kill them... if they are kinda slimy looking maggot type things then they are fungus gnats and there may be some natural ways of getting rid of them without destrying your bud...

if you dont see naythig flying around in there then you sould be ok cuz they are probably springtails. google them to see what they look like, i had the same issue and at first i thought they may be thrips til i did a little research.

Is this true they pose no harm? I just spotted these tonight after watering..... freaking me out!:shock: bongsmilie

ODP, white spots on leaves are either Thrips or Mites. I'm not sure about the Thrips but I have white mites myself, just found out tonight. Neem Oil, Mite X & Floramite are 3 good remedies, the thing is you have to treat every 7 to 10 days to kill the hatching eggs, and it's a good idea to use something different every time since mites build up immunities very quickly. I'd treat at least 3 times, 7 days between treatments just to be safe.
