Who Needs Help?Ask Here..

can i put my young seedlings outside for a few hours? there about 2 1/2 inches and ive been just keeping them by the window. but it seems there stretching a bit trying to get more sun. plus its a little breezy and i want to strengthen up the stems a bit.

Yeah it shouldn't hurt them, so long as they don't dry out, birds don't get them(happend to me once) and it's not too windy.
I don't have any floresent light noly 1000 watters so I put seedlings under the lights at night and put them outside in the day

Hey oscars bones! also make sure they don't get too hot, in my unproffessional oppinion that on a hot day they are better off i the shade, the puts off alot of lumens....
Even in the shade.

ive been following the fox farm feeding schedule, but i dont know when my ladies are ready for the beastie bloomz. Any way to visually tell when ready for the switch from open sesame to beastie bloomz?

Thanks all!

Should I mix half and half grow and bloom for the transition from veg to flower? Floranova grow and bloom, Kool bloom.
veg nutes for the first few weeks
Should I gradually back down the "on time" of my lights? Or just flip em' in the morning?
flip em
Do you know anything about 24 to 36 hours of darkness before light switch?
yeah, mostly a waste of time
It's my first indoor grow, thanks.
hope that helps

info already given was good, wind/fan making stems stronger is a myth

it does say when to switch, but it took most of my plants 3 weeks to show sex. 2 have been ladies for a week now, other 7 turned female this weekend.
i feel they may be behind scedule since took soo long to burst thru.

one of the reasons I always advise not doing multiple strains at the same time

Do marijuana plants like tall and skinny pots or pots that are wide?* I bought some of those Superoots Air Pots and they aren't very wide for how tall they can get, and I'm wondering if marijuana specifically would have any problems with that? Or would it actually be better because it gives more room for the main/tap root?

alright cool. its just the one was literally bent at a 90 degree angle trying to get sun so i felt bad. its not too hot plus i dont work until tonight so ill be able to keep an eye on them.

What do you guys average time frame wise for your clones to root in a cloning bucket?
It's day 11 and don't see any roots yet but there is a buildup on some of the stems
that appears kind of like a slime.. I'm guessing this is the beginning of the roots?
I didn't want to touch it in case it was roots.
I'm concerned for a few reasons.. First time cloning, The space configured gets
hotter than I can currently control. I am using a quad t5 96 watts and it's baking
at 99 degrees. I shut off 2 of the bulbs the other day and now the temps are 90-92.
Hotter than I originally planned for but it is what it is for the minute..
The clones looked great (green and perky) up to about 3 days ago when some
of them starting yellowing on the leaves which I understand is normal prior to rooting?
Despite the yellowing they have never drooped, sagged or looked bad in anyway.

Basically I'm wondering if I should wait another few days or toss and start over.
I'm running out of vertical space and need to switch cycles which should of been done about 2 weeks ago..
As soon as these root I need to start some more for me since these ones were a favor for the guy
who helped me out. So I can't even switch yet due to that..
