So guy and gals,
Old WillieP's plow had hit a stump, (as the saying goes)
I flipped to 12/12 seven days ago and 3 out of 4 of my plants have turned out to be male.
Yep, I'm pretty butthurt at the moment. I know in the long run this will improve my technique and make me a better grower, but at the moment it blows!
I had my doubts last night, but tonight there can be no more doubt...

And the after...

The poor girl looks pretty lonely in there all by her lonesome.
I will drop seeds tomorrow night after I have had a little time to think over what direction I want to move in.
(And when I'm a bit less butthurt!)
I am hoping I have a different method of dealing with regular seeds figured out, as it is obvious that I can not be trusted to judge pre flowers well enough to be able to sex a plant. I guess we will see.

Cheers,
WillieP

Hey All,
It's been a bit since I last updated.
All is well in WillieP's World...
The one female plant that I have left at my grow space is a Grape Ape, and is coming along nicely.
(being grown in Hempy bucket) My first go at that.
Starting to stack up, tomorrow will be 3 weeks since flip to 12/12.
I will get some pictures up this weekend.
The two plants that I have in flower for my college course are both the M-99. @MO_Grow
They are are being grown in soil and were flipped the same day as my home grow.
They both have very similar structure and I think they will do well.

I was pretty butthurt when I had to chop down 3 out of 4 of my full size plants, but I have had a little time to adjust, and look for the silver lining.
I have both a Veg and Flower space, and my intent has always been to have a perpetual grow style. (just hasn't happen yet)
I chose not to drop a bunch of seeds as a reaction to being pissed.
Instead I backed off and thought about the direction I wanted to move in.
I would like to have a plant mature out once every 4 weeks or so. If I start a new plant once a month, it should get me on track to accomplish this.
The next plant I have coming up will be a clone from a friend's Super Silver Haze that I started approximately 3 weeks ago. That should help fill in the gap.
There will be a learning curve to get the timing right, but that's OK.

The other thing I have learned out of this is the flipping of smaller plants to force them to show sex.
We had plants from regular seeds started at the college that were around 4 weeks old.
We flipped them and 3 out of 4 were male. We took the one female and put her back in Veg.

Happy growing y'all!
Cheers,
WillieP

Sorry for the low quality pic, it's hard to get a good pic there. They are under HPS and blurple LEDs.

Cheers,
