hey guys. im not watching this, i dont even know if theyre playing it on tv right now.
but im following the updates and shit. 17 ppl left out of 6000+ ppl who payed $10,000 for registration.

everyone left getting like 350K and 8 million for 1st place. and the money jumps like 100k @ 16 ppl, 14 ppl, etc etc until the final table.

boggles my mind man, ik 10k is a decent amount like if you can throw that down you obviously are ok financially however. 10k is far off 8million.
it changes the members of the final tables lives and its fascinating. just wanted to see if any other ppl out there smokeing a bowl and peeping updates
like myself.

My favorite to win it is J.C tran. think this is his 5th cash in the Main event in like 12 yrs or so.. fucking amazing. think his best showing
was 100th ish so hes far surpassed that but with having cashed 5x hes gotta feel less pressure. most of its card luck @ the end anyhow.
still really cool. i play some $100-300 tournies when i get a chance and when the WSOP circuit comes to foxwoods... my home casino
made it into the teens b4 but never final tabled... shit would be pimpppp.

any one on RIU ever play any serious tournies? any finaltablers out there? lol

im not much of a tourny player though I do play some 100+20 nl at my local casino once a month with all my comp dollars I accumulate. I'm a cash game player usually I sit with 1000 on 2-5 and grind/trap super tight, averaging all my sessions I make 34 an hour on 1-2 63 an hour on 2-5 with my data from the last 2 months. If I grind from 1000 to 5000 i'll move over to 10-10 which is 5k table max. my best run is 300 to 10100 in 22 hours.

what's made me successful is I'm young and a lot of people expect the young guys to be aggressive or inexperienced so people will try to bully me, I haven't bluffed in months if I'm putting in my money its because I beleive I have the best hand. I'll only raise aa kk qq and even then about 1/3 the time I limp with aces unless theres a raise and good money in the pot with me in position. If I lose 5 bucks on kings queens or a terrible board with aces then so be it, people think I'm crazy to limp with these hands but if I do no one can read me on a high set and it can be difference between making a couple hundred or a couple thousand. If i limp with aces and you limp with suited rangers or connectors and i hit set and you flop 2 pair no one will ever read me on a set, where as you may fold pre flop if i 4 bet. I limp with ace king and if i miss i don't chase, I'll only raise ak if its suited in good position or I'm on the button. This super tight playstyle means I average 1.4 hands per hour and have absolutely no problem folding for 2-3 hours straight if I'm card dead or the flops suck

my style is excellent in my opinion for cash game because its basically just waiting for people to pay you and only putting it in with the best and being able to do the correct math to keep people from chasing draws or maximizing or minimising callers based on strength, however due to the super tight nature it puts me at a disadvantage for tournaments where the blinds are always increasing and the math gets wonky. I'm only 21 and I've been living off poker, I know enough now to say that I used to think I was good but now I know enough to say I wasn't lol. It takes incredibly high skill/read/math to bluff perfectly and play a very wide range of hands but only patience to always have the best hand, playing with people that have 40 year experience advantages on me I tend to play safe but when I win I usually win big, its all circumstantial

and in 2 months of playing 5-6 days a week I've only ever busted out for my 1k 3 times, was flopped set over flopped set on for 2 of them and 1 outed on the river with set over set my advantage

I played a satellite at MGM 7 years ago. $150 entrance fee. Top 8 players would be in the money. I was out in 10th. Frick!!! Oh well.. the guy who beat me out I think went on to win the satellite. I left the table area and started heading back to my room... at 2am. Walked passed a craps table, where a nerdy gentlemen was pulling $5k chips from his fanny pack, like they were tic-tacs. wtf...

nice got some poka playas lol ya ii havent had good luck in cash games. i play some tournies.
best i ever did was come in 2nd, out of 5700 in a $1 tourny on pokerstars. i goot like $790. good for my
buy in but shitty when you think of the similiar amount of ppl in the WSOP and first place is 8 million.

BTW my favorite to win who @ the time was in like 7th place. with 17 left is now in 1st, with 9 left. theyll continue in november.

i shoulda bet on tran to win it. hes def gonna take it home lol

where r u from perfextionist. if ur close we should get out cash game on lol
im 22. and not living off poker....YET lol. becuase i wasnt making enough on pokerstars to move abroad to play
but almost was. i was like a year into playing on pokerstars, had 7 months of negative play meaning no ROI,.
however the last 5 months of my play i avg over $1000+ a month working a full time job and avging a $5 buy in
so i wasnt playing 100$ buy ins winning like 500$ lol it was final tabling $1,$2,$3 couple thousand ppl tournies.
best day i ever had in cash games was like 1200 which i proceeded to lose 700 the next day. not a big fan of the swings
that come with cash games lol

thats sick man i work from home. so online would be so ideal for me. thought about moving to guatamala. I speak spanish and my girl has family there. so
really really considered it. especially cuz every american dollar is 7-8 quetzales or there dollar and its not to expensive. still might do it if they dont legalize poker soon.
but theres tournaments @ the bensalem from time to time so if i ever head up there ill hit u up. and do the same if you ever come down to foxwoods.
