Give that a try - many growers trim the larger fan leaves on their clones in half; this, in theory, limits moisture transpiration by reducing leaf surface area. Maybe an option if the water level increase isn't enough. Interesting observations. I tend to suspect the surrounding environment is...

It's drooping because it isn't getting enough moisture, or it is drowned in too much moisture. 5 days in, why would you pull on it? Patience, roots will grow into the bubbler and that's how you know it has roots. I was confused by this lol Whyyyy??

Hey wrendude whats up - pogojr23 makes a good point; as your seedling doesn't mind the wet dirt it's in at the momment, when it gets bigger, the roots will need to breathe significantly more oxygen than they can get now in that soil. Can I suggest transferring to soil w/30% perlite in mixed in...

+1 I'm a believer of "the plant produced it for a reason" when it comes to trimming. I think shorter plants or under-canopy supplements are 100x better than tearing off the glucose producers.

Cool, I was gonna jump back on here and suggest that you could add cfls or something after cutting the light back, but you already did that - you're definitely on the right track

I agree, anytime for topping depending on situation; per your setup, I would go ahead and top them (maybe not the wonder). Maybe try out the SCROG technique for this grow? Also, cutting the light back to 18 or 16 on may help with the heat, too. I could get into the reasoning... ah... why...

Cool - you do that when they're under 6"? Are you growing the same strains? Same media? Every setup will be different and require different needs.
