Do the SunBlaster nanotech reflectors, reflect UV light (t5 uv bulbs). Or are the UV spectrum rays absorbed into the reflectors? Thanks

I am currently using a Black Light UVA T8, a UVB Reptile T8 and will soon be adding another Optic1 COB and a UVA 365nm Cob.. Along side existing rig of 4x 2700k 30w CFLs, 3x 6500k 30w CFLs, 4x 26w Secret Jardin Bloom Tleds, 3x Optic1 54w 3500k Cobs, a Kingbro 36w 660nm far red lamp, a Green Led lamp for added Green Spectrum (allows better light penetration nm colors etc..) and soon I plan to research Ir and low sound waves... Ill ad a pic shortly - FS/STELTHY :leaf:

And if your going to want to chips sorry to burst your bubbles it’s just better to use t5 puremaxuvs only thing I have seen a difference in thrichome production and makes Your plants reek . But for the price those led chips no bueno

Not true, UVA 395nm BlackLight has mild UVB the UVA is blocked out by the blue purple coating and the UVB comes through mildly.. but a UVA 365nm helps boost flavor terpine profiles, bud density, and smell/scent. and UVB as we all know makes the plant protect herself with sunscreen ..aka THC :) ..but UVA defo has a place .. UVC should only be used for sterilization and all UV should be treated with extreme care and precaution to skin and eyes etc.. the Black Light is the lesser of the good evils;) - FS/STELTHY

T5s defo have better intensity over T8s etc..I aggree.. But LED can still handle those wavelengths.. But not those piddilly high marketed selling points.. You need to go BIGGER - FS/STELTHY:leaf:

i would like to add those uv chips but they are like 3 a pop and your gonna need to cover your whole grow with a combo of uvb/uva and i don't wanna buy no led uv board with these because they don't put out as much uvb/uva compared to a single board. what i mean one board one 4ft sunblaster aint a fair fight but just proves my point on how much more power it puts out

Ill be using a 50w UVA 365nm Flood light....to begin with and modifying it with a 130 degree Cob lens on a larger heat sink bed panel.. Ill try and locate the standard 50w 365nm FL output specs...but as far as spec and performance with an added lens, thats just guess work at the mo until its been modified and Ive used a UVlight meter on its amplified output.. I will post it all in my thread over the next few weeks, ~ FS/STELTHY:leaf:

I have found an even better UVA 365nm LED lamp ...but with a price tag leaning to the dark side of 5 grand..they can keep it... Ill add a pic/when my net speed picks up - FS/STELTHY:leaf:

Also.. If you spike the amount of Green Spectrum that will allow the UV Bandwidths to penetrate the leafs surfice area more deeply at the same wattage minus wattage and or running cost of the Green LED...its out of date info that green light only serves as a night light..it plays a key role for better light penetration. (all colors inc UV ..am still looking into if green light has a positive effect or an effect at all when paired with Ir..) - FS/STELTHY :leaf:

Am still Vegging at the mo so only using the Blacklight for low UVB ..when she gets flipped to 12/12 that when the fun begins and colors play a precise role ....cant wait !! 13 days to go - FS/STELTHY :leaf:

Yeah thats true. Is that UVA a 250w..?. Is the heat similar to that of mh,cmh, hps son-t etc.. or does it release more or less heat outputted from the lamp..? -FS/STELTHY:leaf:

u don't need uvb at all in veg not needed just a waste at that point i don't know where u get 250w of uva doe thats not needed u want a mix of 1/4 uva/b has very nice result but if your plants are not use to it it will fry the crap out of your plant
