uvb can help control it you'd be surprised i wasn't running uv and had more of a chance getting pm or bud rot now im running it i haven't seen it the whole run so i think that has helped but i did get a 70 pint dehumidifier to which has helped so much

Sweet as ..Ill buy one now !! - STELTHY :leaf:
start with only 15 mins on then 60 off then 15 on then your done for the day i usually put the uv on at the end of the cycle 4 hours before lights out but i would prob just start with 15 mins on a day and see how they look after 3 to 5 days because youll notice uv damage if they got to much and i can almost say you will get a lot of uv damage from what u were using before a huge differance

I found the link below about uv-a, from @lukio post about chil led's today.
and all these tests that where done was not on cannabis in different fruits everything is different all the info in that page is garbage if i were looking at this i would have to think chilled became a shill? the only thing uva does is increase the terpenes and just makes huge fan leaves and makes more work for you and with the fan leaves it blocks a quarter of the plant sooo not a +

Eventually I will do a virtical 360 tube style scrog that rotates around the main lighting ...but plan to tuck those enlarged fan leaves outwards to an external lamp and will also be running Co2 and also run dry ice over the buds.. and only 660nm for the last hour each day ..as well as UV respectivly.. I want to maximise flavor and mouth presence or texture a swell as being on point for high. - FS\STELTHY :leaf:

Solacure is much better option than Agromax..this has been stated here in RIU lot of times ....Agromax has an incorrect UVA/UVB ratio... One of the effects of UVA is protect from UVB damage...UVA/UVB ratio in nature is much more similar to solacure than to Agromax... IMHO avoid Agromax...
But also, you can use leds..for UVB 285nm about 60 mw per hour max 3-4 hous a day works wonders...just be careful with skin and your eyes also 310 nm are interesting if you find them at good prize and for UVA 365,385 are perfect.. I have been using them with excellent results since vegetative time and with no reduction in production. And regarding the UVA and size of leaves...That does not happen in my experience at all...in fact I suspect that is the contrary..at least with UVB..What is know to increase leaf surface a lot is Far red ...

They are usable the two..the new Super B seems to be less potent in the 280-310nm range and slightly more potent than the Flower Power from 300-320nm.. So Super B is safer to use..but at the same time needs more time of exposition to provide same quantity of 280-300 UVB...it is a question of personal choice...they explain differences in their website...If you are worried about using too much uvb go for the Super B...

Looks like Im probably going with the Reptisuns then unless someone has a link to the AgroMax PureVeg, all I can seem to find anyone have right now is the Pure UV. Probably 2 of 2ft angled from the sides of the tent at a 45° ? And I should be able to work my plants up to these running the whole light cycle for flower or just the few hours during the middle of lights on ?

I figured there must've been a reason no one was really suggesting the Hortiluxs.

And dood, ya, I was gonna say, what was up with the way he was talking ? Lol. It felt like video from the 80s or 90s youd watch in school to learn about UV. Definately was a useful video though.
Did you get these reptisuns, drgreenT?
