Need some advice on my set up ( garage )

Hi, so recently I’ve had to move my set up into the garage it’s now hitting temps of 6 degrees Celsius during the day. I’m in a 1m squared tent using led’s so not getting much heat from them, I want to put a heater in my tent but seems abit pointless as I currently have the tent set up with an open ducting so fresh air can get in with an extractor fan the other side of the tent pulling the air through. My thoughts are I’d have close the tent up fully to keep the heat in, I’m going to insulate the outside with insulation but any advice on what I can do is greatly appreciated

I would seal the tent up personally. Especially outside it seems like you are just opening yourself up to bugs, pests, mould disease from the air in your garage. I would even go a step further and put a filter of some sort on the intake. I just don't trust the cold air in a garage to be clean compared to that in a home that's gone through a furnaces filter.

I made my own cheap intake filter out of a 6" toilet flange, a pizza box cut up for its cardboard, some duct tape and a furnace filter that I've cut to size (and not in this pic but a pair of nylons covering it as a sort of pre-filter).

How about constructing a cold room in the garage? Heat the cold room and put tent in. Should work better than trying to grow 6C outdoors temp in a tent.

dont forget you need to refresh the air or you will encounter co2 depletion problems
