How much watts per foot are you running? Pictures are deceiving, so I'm told a se 1000w hps covers approx a 4x4 area, leds allow for 600 watts for a 4x4, somewhere around 35 watt per square foot or more! I believe this to be the low end of the scale for light saturation. Can you enlighten me on this please! I've been growing for decades and learn every day. What cultivars are you running?
Absolutely this is not the correct watts per sqft. This is more of a test run with our genetics. We’re partners with Trilogene Genetics and growing their strains out. This is our model grow before we scale up with better LED’s. We’re testing our dry amendments and room setup more than the lighting. We have them on 12” talk custom built benches to get them off the floor. All 7 gallon pots, using Gaja Green and 100% organic regiment. They are all CBD genetics because we’re in Virginia. We’re getting setup for legalization so we can switch to thc dominant strains when we get our license. We’re currently growing and making our own cbd products.

All good man I appreciate the feedback either way. We’re proving our model on a smaller scale before we invest in a separate building with better LED’s. I’m in no way saying these lights are “commercial” grade. We have 50plants are were a company, that’s the only reason I’m saying commercial because this isn’t a home grow. They’re budget friendly LED’s that I’ve been using for a year growing high quality flower.

it has to be either genetics or an ph imbalance for that plant but I’m just maintaining as I see fit.
Ya no I understand that, Best of luck ! , That's about all u can do is go back through everything and trouble shoot starting with the basics.

If your hand watering it looks like they got wet and burned, if not no clue, unless they get rubbed when you go past them? Just maybe!
That’s a great point!! We actually don’t hand water. We use Blumat Gravity Automated Irrigation that waters each pot on an individual basis as they need water to all for that “dry” period they need so they’re not continuously “wet” the entire time. Not desert dry haha you know what I mean. We had an oscillating fan hear that plant we had to walk around to get to the reservoir so honestly that’s a great point and may be the cause.

I mean, you’re the one on here asking why your plants look shitty?

I’m in Northern California my dude. Virginia got light years to come.

I cracked a harmless joke and you got upset by it. Chill, brah.

ps. Just looked through your post history. Literally every post is you freaking out because you fucked your plants up. Again.
so maybe you talk less and listen more. Look at the plants in my post history and tell me what’s good newbie.:lol::lol: @curious2garden
Haha the fact that you’re taking the time to go through my posts means you’re a loser bro. That’s what this forum is for to ask questions but you’re too incompetent to understand that.

I had a thing which looked very similar to that happen to a few of my leaves once. In my case I had accidentally gotten them fully wet & they got a light burn bc the moisture droplets pooled & intensified the lights’ effect. Idk though yours seem to be in lower canopy so probably not that.
Thinking back on it we had a fan right there we had to walk around and bushed up on that one plant in particular. We’ve moved it since and that plant looks fine now except those 2 leaves. More so curious if anyone’s seen something similar before

Pix #1 I've haven't seen the striped yellowing before but the edges of the leaves are showing a bit of heat/light stress. Was it close to the lights for awhile? disclaimer: not a commercial grower

Thanks for the feedback. It actually wasn’t near the light, we’ve been pretty good about maintaining height above the canopy. It was near a fan though, pretty close...too close to it haha but we’ve since moved it and there’s no further discoloration on the leaves. Just those few pictured have stayed the same. I’m starting to think it was a problem with being hit with the fan for a week straight when it grew into it.

For the love of god please please don't ever repeat this bro-science. light droplets don't magnify light and burn plants - proof? Every freaking plant on Earth. However, salts can collect in pools and condense and burn plants when not using a wetting agent. But please stop the bro-science.

Correct. For one thing the water evaporates before it would have long enough to do anything. Secondly the focal point of the "lens" is not 0, so it's not magnifying anything.

Join the Mars hydro grow journal, they are giving away some of their 6500s. These are supposed to be commercial grade, the price is definitely commercial. You should enter considering how many mars lights you have. Best of luck in your growing endeavors. Its on this site, check it out.

Says the “commercial grower” in the plant problems section.
Yeah. If you lived in Cali you’d have legit cuts, legal status, be in the literal pot Mecca of the world and MAYBE even get a lil style.
But you can’t and won’t. Good luck in Delaware or whatever boofy ass state you live in :lol::lol:
Like I said, look at my plants. Then look at yours. Maybe it’s cause I don’t grow under cheap, wack LEDs?
or maybe I’m just cooler than you?8-)

keep up rook.

Congrats man I’m really proud of you coming on here and being a tough guy behind a computer. Good luck with life my friend. Here’s some updates on my WONKEY LED’s. These are the lower branches too just to give you perspective on the fire we grow here.

Take a step back and relax buddy, enjoy the pics!! Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll help guide your future endeavors with cannabis growing.

No offence intended here but you do realise your plants are considerably stretched.

How tall are they in your last pictures and what are the penetration power of your Lights?

To get the most out of using artificial lighting we need To make good use of the lights footprint and penetration power.

for eg no point growing a 5 foot plant that isn’t trained if your light only penetrates 2ft of the canopy.

Wow. After seeing this thread I see why commercial growers in the US have such a bad name.

No offense mate, you are a novice grower, you even say you have only been growing for 1 year. I would definately do alot more research and refine your skills before expanding your operation or you are going to lose alot of money.

Whats your problem? Sound stuck up and immature if you need to go to random threads to flex your cred and make people feel small for their grow. Dude simply responds keep comments to yourself and like a typical infant you pull the "woah brow chillmandude it was just a joke" "lookz at my plantz broh im so gUd cum 2 cali wheres all teh gud gr0werz be" classic gaslighting.

Its cannabis. Its not some heirloom orchids. These plants grow themselves and you aint special because you "crop poundz in cali with legit cutz"

You also aint special because jerks like you are a dime a dozen in this world. Being courteous and kind speaks of the bigger person. But with the anonymity of the internet comes with acting a front you wouldnt show out in the real world.

Or maybe you are like this in the real world?

Now quickly research my past posts to figure out what kind of grower I am and attack me like the hurt child inside of you wants to do. Because growing weed is all that there is in life and your worth is determined solely on cropping poundz from legit cutz

Just dont even waste your time proving yourself.

Whatever you do or say is useless they already have their mind made up and have you judged.

All you are doing is fueling the fire.

Anything you show is trash in their eyes because they are perfect growers
