Hey everyone @GeekBeast has sent me a new light to do a journal with. It’s a monster board pro 2400.

The light will be arriving today so I figured I’ll start my seeds for this run.

Hopefully they all start I’m excited about them all.
HSO - Chemdawg
Freedom of seeds- GodBerry
Garden of green- Phantom Domina Cookies
710 Genetics seeds - 710 Mango
Pheno Finder seeds- Lemon Bubble
Katsu Bluebird - Skunkwalker OG

Updates to follow when I unpack the light later

So the light arrived in a nice solid shipping box with thick plastic around the sides to protect it, I thought it was a lot better than some of the other packages I have opened durability wise.
Really cool features included on this light for different spectrum options, which I’ll highlight more through the grow,(white, veg, bloom,UV,IR) all separate and customizable!
Just finishing sanitizing the tent today from the last run but once I finish sweeping, vacuum, cleaning surfaces with isopropyl and flooding with Ozone I’ll post pictures of complete setup.

Ill add a little information about this grow, It will take place in my 6.5X4.5ft tent.
All of the above seeds will be started under the Geekbeast MonsterBoard 2400.
They will veg solely under this light for as long as they fit underneath it. This light will flower two of the six plants in this tent.
These two plants and this light will be the sole focus of this grow journal longterm.

Switched the seeds from shot glasses to paper towels in Tupperware image.jpg

The walls, roof and equipment are all clean now. Just need to sweep, vacuum, iso the floor and flood with ozone for a hour or twoimage.jpg

Now for the interesting stuff!

So you can have just the mixed whites on, or veg mode(looks heavier in the 55-6500k and has the 450nm blue), bloom mode(heavier towards the 27-3000k plus the 660nm red), and the UV can be separately ran at any time, same with the IR having its own separate switch.
Very well thought out design and controls

Looks like it would be a great light for my little 4x2' tent but just need veg lights for that and have that covered.

Nice line-up of beans to try you got there. Those should put it thru a good test.

If I manage to come up with some money in the next while I think I'd like to build my own lights. I'm great with a soldering iron and have a few to chose from and good DIY skills for making good units. I kind of like the idea of COBs mixed with the smaller LEDs but would need to do my research first.

Decarbing some half gram samples of CBD pot to do Beam's Testing on them while prepping pot to make some oil as well.

So not much new to show I’ve raised the light a bit but kept it around the same light intensity.
A friend gave me a half a bottle of beneficial bacteria so I decided to water some in.

When I initially put the seeds in the soil I added some powder myco as well.

I’ll give a small tour of the grow room.
Been keeping the em between 24-26C(75.2-78.8F) and 60% humidity
image.jpg
I try to keep 12 Gallons of rainwater or tap water aerated and ready for my weed/houseplants image.jpg

I filter the air going in the tent because I own cats and don’t want hair in the tent
image.jpg
Once they start to flower I hook another one venting outside the house. image.jpg
All the lower fans will eventually be running but none for now.

Just this cool 6” osc fan going currently

Thanks for your time, more to come tomorrow!

That is one sweet light
I really like how customizable the spectrum is for just one light!
It will happily take someone seed to harvest.

One thing I really like is you don’t need to run the IR and UV full time if you don’t want to.
In my research and experience those two diodes are harder to make and the technology just isn’t quite there yet, so with competitive companies lights you’ll end up with just white and 660red diodes because the IR and UV all died out after 30000 hours when the whites and 660 will last much longer.
With these lights I don’t see that being a problem long term… as long as you don’t run them constantly.
This company is very forward thinking
