yeah not entirely sure, I read on an online article that it was a dj short delta 9 blueberry male, crossed with a "frosty white widow", But I read in a forum later that widow widow had nothing to do with the cross. Anybody know anything? Im really kind of dissapointed in paradise seeds not telling the origin of there strains. I bought the strain thinking it was blueberryxww but now im confused to what im even growing. I mean isnt that one of the main reason to purchasing seeds to know what it is exactly your growing.........on the bright side no matter what they are they are making me happy to see them develop and I guess thats what matters.

I am not 100% on that either man, will haveta do some research. I would haveta agree with ya on the last part, in the end you gain experience and some dank budz.

Well, I always thought it was white widow x blueberry.

But it would make sense that it was a afghan plant, because those are power plants for sure, and my whiteberry showed a real vigor when it was growing.
Dinafem seeds has a Blue Widow and a Blue Hash.
Attitude is giving out a free 'g13 labs blue venom' which I will assume is ww x bb
I really want to try all of the blueberry varieties and see which combinations truly are the best...
The best way to find out is probably just to do it myself though. In the future I will cross pollinate various strands with dutch passion blueberry pollen.

Just remember crossing 2 strains and getting the desired qualitys/genitics is a numbers game after all. If you enjoy DP's blueberry then pick another strain you think has some quality/genetic trate you like. Useing 1 strain and just randomly breeding it with anything and everything is honestly a crap shoot at best.
Start with 2 strains that each have a unique quality/trate you desire and when those seeds are planted there will be various phenotypes, where as they wont all be the same. There will be some that are better than others and there is also that chance that the 2 things from each plant you were trying to get there children to have wont happen at all. There is just alot of work and back crossing involved to stabalize those various qualitys/genetics your looking for. Start with the 2 strains you think will do it best for ya and continue with them through back crossing untill you get what you want is more likley to be quicker than just a bunch of random first generation crossings.
There are some nice seed making/breeding guides on these forums here so do some searching on that.

Well not sure I explained it well enough. The thing is that if you just picked blueberry and 1 strain and crossed it and made 1000 seeds. You could plant every seed and possibly not have 2 plants that are the same and any of these fantastic plants that come out of it are going to be a clone only thing unless you spend the time to stabalize the things your looking for and thats not nessesarly easy.
I suppose that if your just looking to throw the dice and see what grows then crossing it with many other strains would work. The only thing is that if you plant that seed and get a fantastic plant you will want to keep a mother of it so that you can clone the thing, because planting more of that same seed does by no means garantee you will get that same fantastic phenotype you got with the 1st one.
Keeping a clone mom and dad alive during the entire process for back crossing is a must if your looking to stabalize certian aspects of a crossed plant strain. If your going to do multiple crosses and save the best of each cross as a "clone only strain" that would be an option. However if your like how this strain grows and how another one tastes to get there offspring to possess both of these qualitys is not an easy thing and will require multiple back crosses to get the desired results and there is still a chance you dont even get those results at all.

Agreed. Grow out at least 20 females,20 males from each strain, pick 3 females and 1 male so you have 3 different desireable phenos pollinated to choose from later , pollenate all three females with one male, collect seeds from 3 females(separated of coarse), grow out 20 from each, choose 1 male from each, take clones of the most desirable female from the three(you could take more, label them them grow the plants out, smoke, choose wich clones to keep from the smoke) Use those clones as mothers, harvest the male pollen sacks from the one male you selected from each group, brush, or shake the pollen from the sacks onto the mature clones that you took. now you can collect those seeds, grow them out pick males and backcross them with clones from each of your mother plants as many times as you wanted. Now you should have three stable varieties of each strain, pick one from each, if you cant, pick 2 and keep 2 or you could cross each type, grow these seeds out from each, pick best male from one strain, and best female from the other strain,pollenate. If you want more qualities from one of the strains just pick your best male from your new strain and back cross it with a clone from your mother plants(which ever one you want). Follow this exactly and you should have a very good strain. Thinking about this makes me realize why seed companies charge so much for there seeds, I mean imagine keeping track of 5 plus strains like this. lol.
By the way sorry about all the improper english and the huge run on sentences, but that was just to much to put in proper form especially when your blowed.....

By the way I wouldent recommend a clone only strain without first collecting ample seeds. Thats how alot of strains are almost imposible to get ahold of unless you live in Cali. or a pot friendly part of the world.

Yeah, to create your own stable strain its very time and space and resource consuming matter so those seed companys have to charge what they charge. I have kept multiple male plants or a clone of that male plant alive for many of years and if I start figureing out how much extra I could have yieled if they were females it would probabally make me sad, however every kick ass strian out there now all had a nice male plant in its genetics so there worth keeping. I just havent been able to hit that lotto yet as in finding that new strain/cross that makes it all worth while and I have been growing for over 20 years now. I have had some breaks and some disasters and with my limited budget and space its just not easy.
Now, I am not trying to talk anyone out of making multiple crosses with other various strains this can be a shot in the dark though. However there are quite a few great "clone only" strains out there that are nothing more than an unstable cross where this plant got "lucky" and was way better than the rest of the seed from that same cross.

haha, yeah, Syrius likes to ramble on, LOL, i'm just messin with ya man! i've definetely noticed some seeds starting to develop in the buds i pollinated on the white rhino...hopefully she'll make alot of those seeds, i'm excited..

I am very glad that you have alot to say about this, but again, you just made an assumption because I didn't specify.
I am planning on picking 3-4 strains that I would like to cross with blueberry, then make the crosses and grow out 10+ seeds per cross and see how they turn out on a macro scale take clones from all of them before you flower and then keep the clones from the plants you liked. So essentially yes, I want a ton of different phenos, so when I select my mothers I have a really diverse pool, and I can spread a few clones around. I can always just grow out more if I want a different phenotype.

How many days flowering do you have left on the wb?

Not sure what asumption I made, I was mierly trying to throw out some info and such.. Totally sorry for any incorrect assumptions I may have made though.
Theres nothing wrong with your plan at all and if you come up with one fantastic pheno thats better than the rest that it would be cloned into a mother so that you can propagate that phenotype. To take and do a cross then stabalize that cross so that its children from seed are generalry the same pheno that possess the qualitys you desire is a far more complex and time consuming matter. I guess I was just trying to make sure folks were aware of that.

Im about to post basically the worst thing you can in a jounal. My grow got busted. the landlord just came in to change my water heater when I wasnt there, smelled it, snooped, found it and called the cops. They came to my work took me to my house and since I cooperated didnt arrest me. When I went in and seen the plants the biggest bud was clipped so one of the fuckin pigs is prolly drying it out right now. so heres where im left, no plants, evicted, and looking at who knows how long in jail..........

OUCH BROTHER, that fucking sucks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is part of the reason I have my shit locked up, wont havta worry bout it in a couple months, buying a house. Keep us updated man! Sorry to hear about the bad luck
