  • Wuz up veggieardener I'm A NEWBIE and I had a few questions. After germinating how much should you water the plant? When outdoor growing how often should you water after planted in the ground? (As you can see I dont want to over or under water it) Also when planting outdoor from the begining the plant needs to be high in nutes then in flower stage, low in nutes, how can you do that WHEN THE PLANT IS IN THE GROUND? And is there a such thing as buying a soil to use and nit change through out the whole growth cycle of the plant?
The earliest strain I grow is Durban Poison. It is an early sativa. It proved hardy in the fall. Cold conditions tend to turn it purple. Good quality in every way.

There may be indicas that do well, but I really haven't tested any.

I'm in central California and have an eight month growing season.
Hey buddy, noticed you are a seasoned outdoor vet and was wondering if I could pick your brain.
With your experience what strains have been able to withstand a couple frosts and also finish somewhat early.
Im in southern Alberta Canada and have such a shorter season with random frosts.
    Thanks for your help!
    much appreciated!
I've got the book ordered from amazon. Thanks for all the insight it has been helpful and got me motivated more!!
Access to water and avoiding visible trails are important, as well.

Figure out a way to be warned if someone has found a garden, BEFORE you get to it.

Regarding weather, I'd say you can grow outside as long as frost isn't an issue. Also, grow your plants as large as practicable before putting them out. Most herbivores love Cannabis. Chicken wire(2" hexagonal) will go a long ways to keeping bunnies out.

Other tricks included taking great care to pick spots that kept the plant(s) invisible until you could touch it/them. He would place an easily seen marker at maximum plant height(generally about ten feet), and then circle the spot, spiraling closer until the marker was visible.

Planting in spots with good overhead, and Southern exposures is best.

Pick your spots, and then spend a day there, marking where the sunlight falls throughout the day, shooting for as much sunlight as is safe and reasonable. Generally, a minimum of six hours of direct sunlight is required to get an adequate yield. The more, the better, keeping stealthiness in mind.

I suggest you read everything in this book.

Steath growing requires a lot of thought and discipline.

The best stealth grower I've known grew locally for thirty years without problems with LEOs and little trouble with thieves. His primary secret is NO PARTNER!

Alright veggiegardener, am thinking of doing my first guerrilla grow this summer in the uk. Can you recommend a good grow bible and do you think the weather will be good enough here in the uk to have an outdoor grow?

    Thanks Buddy

Your plan sounds a bit dangerous. I don't recommend planting in other's property, ever. Everybody wants a twelve inch tall plant that produces five pounds of 30% THC weed.

In your situation, consider using autoflowering seeds to harvest in high summer(July or August). LEOs usually don't get excited until near harvest, because they don't like smoking schwag, either.

I'd go with cheap soil and nutes. cuts your exposure if you get ripped off(the biggest danger. people are everywhere).

Northern part of the midwest US, and Im doing a guerrilla grow all over my town so it will sunlight will vary but im planning on keeping the plants in 5 gallon pots just barried underground so I can move if needed and I can use the exact medium that will be best. I will be able to move the plants outside as soon as May (June at the latest) and I need to harvest before the frost which can come as early as the first week in december.
I am planning growing WW max and top 44 from 420-seeds unless my mind changes again before I order ahah too many choices;) but basically I'm looking for a somewhat short, high yeilding plants with high THC lvls. If anyone knows another strain that would be better for my conditions please let me know.
    Hey, Ben!

How about describing your grow location?

I use blue spectrum CFLs in various wattages. Currently I have a Trainwreck mother plant vegging under 3 x 65w CFLs.

veggie im goin for my 1st outdoor grow this year and i was just wondering what would you recomend for soil and nutrents? And also what kind of lights do you use to start your babys and how long do you wait to transplant?

    Thanks alot,
    Ben
I've known a couple "ultimate" fighters. Both retired after their first loss. One had 30+ wins before that loss. I enjoy watching such things occasionally, but I guess I don't see why anyone would want to fight, period. Not against it. Just don't get it.
