Well..Spring is here and things have gotten out of hand.. :)

As I've mentioned I'm doing photos and Autos...So, at present, I'm running..

photos..

- White Gold (White Label)
- Blue Dream
- Chemdawg
- Liberty Haze
- Cherry Wine (CBD)...the terpenes for this are amazing! (Understatement)
Autos

-Mephisto's -Double Grape
- Bubbasquanch
- Kannabia - SpeedyboomAuto...this is an Auto created from a cross between TGA's Vortex and Jack's Cleaner...suppose to have a nice Sativa effect.
- my webbed Cannabis..always tweaking here.
- I'm also running a couple of my Genesis Auto's I created..Gives me male auto genes when I find a decent cross..(GG4xGSCx Tangiematic x Jack the Ripper)
- Charlottes Angel Auto (Dutch Passion)

- Cinderella 99x Blueberry cross

and lastly I just popped a Northern Lights Auto I recently received from a friend..we'll see how it pans out..

So basically..one big "goat rodeo"...Creating seeds and sampling a few buds along the way..

Hope everyone has a similar jungle on the go...

Anyone look a the Mephisto Genetics website lately? (it's down..stating to reopen soon)

It's like a lemonade pop up stand..You never know when they're going to have any beans in stock for sale...

I know they've got quality genetics..running the Double Grape and Bubba now...but is it that they are a smaller "boutique" producer of beans or are they just blazing through stock...?

I know I paid a decent penny for mine...

I'm finally weaned myself from buying seeds. There will always be strains I wouldn't mind having, but I have more than enough now to last for decades at my rate of use (well over a thousand last time I looked). There is enough variety in the vault that I can cross and backcross and screw around for a long time before I run out of interesting(to me) projects.

It feels weird to be winding down as everyone is getting revved up for the summer but kind of liberating as well. I've got less than dozen plants for the first time in years and almost all will be harvested by the end of June. Being able to bugger off to the water without having to trust someone to babysit the garden seems like a good plan, for this year anyway.

I'm in the same boat HG...

I have a good cross of photos and Auto's and now pretty much swap beans amongst friends..
That said..every once and awhile something jumps out at me..but like you..I keep it in check as I've already paid my dues grabbing seeds.

Cheers

I've just finally got it through my skull that buying seeds when I have unsampled genetics in my collection is not a good use of funds. I have multiple IBLs that I have not yet harvested or have only harvested males, as well as numerous F1s to try, and a good variety of pollen to make a whole bunch of new crosses.

Given that seeds have a finite shelf life( I know, I know, they'll last for many years if stored well but that is still finite) I'd rather buy fresh stock when I'm ready for more. I also hate the idea of getting to a point where I feel forced to grow seeds before they are at danger of not germinating rather than growing what I want to grow.

Re: the JOTI blueberry that I said I'd update a page back, it ended up male. It finished and the pollen has been drying in the dark and will be sealed and put in the freezer for down the road.

I might have to do a bean swap one day and try one of those duckfoot autos you’re breeding! They sound neat.

Yeah it’s my second run of this Blue Dream. It’s leaning Sativa. I got a cut. I’m actually going through my cuts making cuts lol. Not sure if I’ll keep it after this run as I think theres better Sativa out there.
So many are growing blue dream lately. I haven't tried it yet, but I wanna. I hear it's fantastic.

Looks like the AB growers section is rocking again!

Summers here and with this virus slowdown a guys got a lil more time on his hands to be growing!

Managed to get a full garden put in with the gal and growing along strong.

Doing a few auto’s outside. Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine.

Also attempting one Dinafem Quick CBD. We will see if it finishes in time.

All are in five gallon pots, in organic soil. I’m leaving them outside to the elements and get what I get.

Have a few gals flowering right now:

Pyramid Seeds Tutankhamon
Sweet Seeds Red Mandarine
G13 Labs C99
Dinafem Blueberry Cookies
G13 Labs Maltezerz

And Scroging out to flip soon are a few Dinafem Amnesia CBD.

Scored some Mephisto Forum Stomper, In House Genetics Sugarcane and some Rare Dankness Ghost Train Haze #1 regs I can’t wait to pop.

Peace out Alberta!

Some people were asking where I found my Mephisto Double Grape seeds (as Mephisro's websites are currently shut down.)..I found them at Canadian Autoflower.ca...It seems to be the only place that has any Mephisto beans at this point.

Smoking some stinky and powerful Gods W.B. Kush from JOTI that was recently chopped. The harvest is looking bigger than I'd thought due to very dense buds. Also hearing very positive feedback from numerous people that have sampled the B.C.Grapes. Been really happy with what I've grown from JOTI so far.

Rethinking my plan to let the tents empty out for the summer. The overall world/national/provincial/local plus my own personal economic outlook predict I won't be getting out of town much this summer, also the streams and rivers are super high and dirty with lots more rain in the forecast, so for a few bucks worth of power I might as well grow some weed.

Saw a crazy photo of flooding from down by Airdrie today. Hope you southern boys are staying dry.

Another hundred year flood in AB :)

I was right in the middle of the Calgary flood in 2013. I worked in the downtown, alongside the Bow River, and lived right near the Elbow River. That was labelled a hundred year flood as well.
