My friends place in Skyview was absolutely obliterated last night...looks like Berlin in the 80's hail was golf ball and bigger.

Another hundred year flood in AB :)

I was right in the middle of the Calgary flood in 2013. I worked in the downtown, alongside the Bow River, and lived right near the Elbow River. That was labelled a hundred year flood as well.
Good thing climate change is all a lefty hoax. :wall:;)

Holy shit that is bad! Lots of claims agents not getting much sleep this weekend I assume.

I know winters down there aren't as cold but damn, you guys get some harsh storms from over the Rockies that we don't have to deal with a few hours north.

Yeah our weather is all over the place....dont like it...wait 5 mins...its our moto, lol. Ive seen snow in every month living here, but our growing season is shorter than when I lived in Lethbridge, much warmer all year, but its a bit uncultured. Its were i grew up and have memories, would never go back. It feels like Alberta's Arkansas sometimes with SOME folk. But i still love where I'm from, and there are great people there, love "the bridge" just not for me anymore.

I grew up near Rotten Monkey House(tm;)), I know all about what comes over the mountains.

Bright sun, thunderstorm that forces you to pull to the shoulder due to zero visibility and shakes the vehicle, bright sun, snowstorm that makes you pull to the shoulder due to zero visibility, bright sun...hope you enjoyed your drive on the Trunk road in July. :)

I know the trunk road, lol. I drove many miles on the south end at racehorse creek by the old man river headwaters, most beautiful place on earth IMHO, best sky for stars. Sketchy as fuck between weather and wind though.

Just went and dropped four of my homemade seeds in some coco: C99, pineapple pheno, x Blueberry. This cross has been successfully germinated but only males, so here's fingers crossed for some girls. Still don't want full tents for July and August, but I'll keep a few going.

When you're starting those beans..use just the grow switch, if you can (more blue light) for first couple weeks..Suppose to increase the frequency of female to male plants.. :)

Thank you. I don't have one them thar fancy new-fangled grow switches like you kids have these days, though. ;)

I'm a KISS SIL grower, it's either 3000K or 5000k. That said, I get my share or better of female plants. I've only popped a few of these seeds previously(2, iirc), I was more saying that I had no worries about proving they were viable, only waiting for the odds to come up in my favour.

Hahaha not fancy here. Just offering up help. I'm super cheap. I buy value lights, not labels, or expensive assuming its better. Lots of folks throw money, I do research first. Im happy with what I've done, not a pro...not even close...10 years experience and dialed into miracle grow and 1 mars quantum board, pheno hunt your plants. That shit works if you use it right. I believe in KISS too. Its the way to grow. We're here with you growmie. Keep up the great work.
