Yeah...it's disappointing. They were fantastic but something definitely happened. I'm placing a large-ish order for Dinafem autos this week.
I just got some Colombian Gold seeds from the Attitude today, and the freebie was Dinafem White Widow! Can't wait; these are going to be incredible.

I only grew one dinafem auto, it was white widow XXL, the worst auto i have ever grown, small, fluffy, not potent etc. just all around crappiest thing you can imagine. Okay it was slightly bigger than the old school low ryder #1, but i preferred even low ryder #1 in every way

My fastbuds experience has been that 0 out of 3 cream cookie seeds did not pop(it was winter and i might had let some too cool breeze on them, so i dunno hose fault it was really). 2/3 LSD25 auto were hermies, third seed i didnt grow because fuck hermies. I also grew one crystal meth auto from them and it was good quality bud, but the plant was pretty small(good if you like small plants) and in the end it started putting out few male flowers, but they did not have time to seed it. If i remember right i cut it down like a week earlier than i wanted to, because of male flowers popping up and i didn't want to seed all my plants.

I do see fastbuds genetics making good buds, but there are tons of other problems clearly. Im not going to risk it with them anymore and i think i should just eat that remaining lsd25 seed to put it to at least some good use..
I'm not defending the uniformity issues that Fastbuds has .. but condemning a breeder based on a sample size of one is just ridiculous. I've grown a number of Fastbuds strains under a variety of conditions and while you'll never see an even canopy, they do produce some nice genetics.
If you want to evaluate a strain or a breeder, pop a 5 or a 10 pack of something and see what you get.
Then come back and bitch about it :)

Only a sample size of 2 out of each pack but look at the two pineapple express in the back. Insanely different. The 7 strain photo run i just did turned out better than anything that came out of this 6 strain fast buds run and most of the photo run was shitty Canuk seeds.

That's a beautiful bud right there. I was looking through my free seeds to pop a photo for the cold months and 2 that stuck out were Dinafem Big Kush(Critical x Big Bud) and G13 White Widow. Never grown a WW, so even though different breeder i might grow her out.
Go for it. You won't be disappointed. :bigjoint::bigjoint:

I have 4 or 5 tents... I usually do both autos and photos...
I do both also. Auto seed companies aren't any more or less reliable than photo seeds. I've seen plenty of photos that were junk...ILGM comes to mind. I like autos also because I'm done in 75 days and pulling at least 3 to 4ozs from each plant...which is plenty for my needs. I do like photos in the summer as my 12 hrs of dark is 7am to 7pm and I can control temps better that way...but all things being equal I find that autos are a no brainer for a novice grower who is growing for their own use. Ymmv..

Why not just grow some photos 12/12 from seed? It only takes maybe 2 weeks longer, saves electricity, and you are FAR more likely to get better results.
Especially if your doing indoor autos are great for outdoors runs anytime of year but inside you just gotta flip your timers boom you have a auto lol with way better genetics

If only I listened to this advice......
I have a couple hundred meatbreath fem seeds, they produce prob the best bud I've smoked in 40+ years, small dense buds covered in
crystal. I can make the best honey oil from this as well......exceptional.
Just had to try this auto thang......satisfy my curiosity. Tried auto GG4 and Cream.....Cream was the free throw in.
They grew very nice, bigger count than the meatbreath. Not a whole bunch of crystal compared to the Meatbreath but still respectable.
This was an indoor hydro grow.

I ordered a 10 pack of Tangerine dream auto from Growers Choice for the next round. I started them about 20 days ago. By started I mean the
soak, paper towel they want you to do for their guarantee.

Well.....

The GG4 and Cream have cured now and I've had an opportunity to really compare to my Meat breath.....
The result?.......Meh, theyre ok but.....Meh. I'll turn this into oil.

The Growers Choice?.......I'll never know, 1 seed out of 3 that popped was viable, thats out of 10 ordered. NEVER will I order from
them again......NEVER!. ( I didnt claim dick from them.....just wrote a nice fuck you message)

Just so you dont think I'm inexperienced.......my first commercial grow was in Vancouver during desert storm (yes, 1990, I was 30). We made an average of 3lbs a month every month for the next 5 years and for the last 20+ years I've grown for personal.

So..... Joe, I really wish I would of stuck to my photos.......better and like you said, cheaper on the light bill.
Just gotta get a mama going now.....
