DIY COB Set Up For a 3x3 Grow

Hey guys, so Im looking to build my first DIY COB set up and I wondering if I should try and run 9 COBs or 6 COBs ? My plan was to run 9 to have 1 light every sq ft but Im having trouble finding a driver that would run all 9 COBs in series. Would I be better off doing 5 COBs on 1 driver, and 4 on another ? Or 3 sets of 3 ? Or just stick with the tried and true 6 COBs for the 3x3 ? Im leaning towards using Vero29SEs (either the 36v or the 50v) over the Cree CXB3590s, and speccing 1 3x3 light for flower (5 3000k 90 CRI and 4 1750k 80 CRI?) and 1 3x3 light for veg (5 3500k 90 CRI and 4 5000k 70 CRI?) Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the rapidled 3x3 vero29 diy kit. It really kicks butt and produces very little heat. I’m very pleased. That’s 6 cobs running at 50w each.
