DIY with Quantum Boards

Softer is better. Good voltage constant and run less amps. They get more and more efficient until they won't run at all.

As you can imagine, it gets more expensive because you then need more boards/chips/COBs but you'll get the payback in terms of less electricity usage and better light distribution.
OK, I understand, I'll have to start small and scale up as funds allow. So if I have to buy 1 board 1 driver which combo is the most efficient for 2 boards in a 3x2

Any part of a Grow area that is switched to higher efficiency lighting raises the efficiency of the whole. The cost per watt or par watt is much lower than it ever has been. There is no need to do all at once.

So an idea; get a big driver that will run several boards, start with one board on a dimmed setting and then add more boards in parallel as you get money.

@Stephenj37826 @robincnn what do you think of this approach?

Currently 260,320 kits all series wiring of boards. trying to be consistent and keeping all kits in series wiring if possible.
We have been using only AZ Bin boards and parallel wiring is not an issue for now. However things may change in future as we try to increase production.
