Move your light up. If I read right they were under a 65. And now a 600. When you switch to bigger lights always start way high and work your way down. I think they're just shocked at the drastic changes all at once.

Then leave them alone for a week. With the transplant and light change they're a bit stressed...

Hey man, I'm growing the Barney's AG. Its a BIACH for a newby like me. I started it off in fox farms ocean forest, and the soil was way too hot for it. It has given me lots of issues. Its real fussy with nutes. If I had to grow it again, I would start it out in a soil mix that was not as hot, and stay light on the nutes. One thing about the AG, it will trick you. When mine was in VEG, it grew slow. I veg'd it for about 1 month. It must have been less than 12 inches when I flipped it to 12/12. Afterwards, it shot up to almost 3 feet. I had to twist the top around to control the height. I would definitely TOP the plant to control the height. Top it twice if you can. My AG has been flowering for 8 weeks. All the trichs are mostly cloudy. I could probably pull it now, but it is still shooting out white pistils. I will probably let it go another 2 weeks. Check out my grow here: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/724762-g13-cinderella-99-barneys-acapulco.html

They keep growing slowly and i checked the roots and its growing but very slowly. Is this normal or thats why its better to transplant them into a smaller pot first?

There is generally pretty slow growth above the soil during seedling stage, it is all going on in the root zone. Once your root zone gets established, they should take off. If your root zone does not get established, they will not do a whole lot more and die. You had some stress issues that may have stalled them. So hang in there for now, hopefully they recover.

i Replanted three new seeds in a party cup. after two weeks im going to transplant them into the 5 gallon when they about a few inches high and adding the 18/6. should i make the transplant into a smaller gallon like 3 instead of 5 or 5 is okay?

Dude seriously, STOP fucking with them. Let me explain- a seedling emerges and sends out a tap root. This root searches for a water source and available nutrients within the soil. The root will always travel down, and when it hits its water source it slows root elongation. This tiny ass seedling does not need lots of water. The term "watering" or seedling should really be called "dampening". The idea is to provide just enough moisture to sustain the seedling and prevent drying out. Meanwhile the soil remains fairly airy and this is what creates fat, thick and fluffy roots that grow out of control. If you provide to wet of a root zone, you give up air and that will lead to root disease and eventually dampening off or root rot will kill the plant.

A 65w cfl Is good, a 600w MH IMO, better! BUT...... fuck me running - not at 1foot away, more like 5 feet. Then lower the light closer to the plants as they stretch. Plants stretch when light levels aren't adequate. If the light is to close, it can stunt/burn and even kill them.

Don't transplant anything right now, just let them grow undisturbed until they are with (have grown) 4sets of branches, these are called internodes. Its best to start them in a solo cup or something that allows you to grip the plant at its base and lift out the root ball for inspection. If you go with the solo method I would suggest using Fox Farm Light Warrior mix/soil. You will thank me later. Also make sure to put some drainage holes in the bottom of the solo cup.

Don't fertilize > 1 day old------------------ 2 weeks old, then its ok to use 1/8 -1/4 strength. Just plain de chlorinated water or bottled water with some B vitamins or kelp.

dude your fucking awesome... ill do that let it grow and put the light 5 fight away. what killed my plants i think was that i put the 600w 1 foot away after they were strechy as they ar ein my pic. woke up saw them and they all were pile whitish greeenish. now i know.

another thing what you mean RO+DI/ MG? in terms of ph i keep it 6. im been watering my plants with tap water ph at 6. i let water sit for 24 hours so chlorine evaporates.

Ro means reverse osmosis. Di means de-ionized. It is purified water with absolutely zero value. 0ppm. Cannabis needs 19 elements contained with in the perodic table. Mg is magnesium. Ca is calcium. Ect.... familiarize yourself with the table.

Your water preparation methods are fine but tap water has more Ca than Mg so I would add 1TSP per gallon of epsom salt aka. Magnesium Sulfate. Shot for a constant ph going in and comming out of soil that reads 6.5ph. Thts optimal for all elements neccessary to cannabis to be avaiable for uptake by the roots. If the ph ain't right, it don't matter how much fertilizer is present, its not avaiable. Ph control is crucial to cultivation. Plants may otherwise grow, but will clearly be seen as not reaching full potential. This could for growers like me, mean a pound or more.

Simple answer to your issue. The reason any plant stretches like yours are is do to they are searching for more light. Fluorescents put out little light, so you have to put them close. As far as hydro, look in the forums to understand it better. Soil should always be done by newbies so you can understand the plant better. Hydro can actually be really easy, but you have to understand how plants grow first and wat they need as you are the one controlling the life.

Okay this is the Status of my two LSD. I Think they growing super slow even tho they are in a 5 Gallon pot. They 11 Days old from seeding. Any feed back or suggestions to improve growth beside transplanting them into a smaller pot? Is that the sizes the plant suppose to be at 11 days old?photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpgView attachment 2935569

I'm a hydro grower now but..... what happened to your plants turning whiteish is that you bleached them out with the 600w being too close. You have already seen improvement since following the advice of other growers to move the light up. I started around the same time you did and my 600w is exactly five foot above and I move down in 6 inch increments until I see the plants are very happy.

When soil growing I would plant the seed directly into a five gallon bucket filled with soil. So no need to transplant to smaller. The advice given to you is to quit fucking with it and let it grow. I second that motion in a big way. Soil will allow you to make lots of mistakes but constantly fucking around with your plants is a killer for sure.

When I first started I never used a ph meter or any of the other stuff you already have. I never lost a plant (knock on wood) back then and hope I never will, but you know what? If I do loose a plant I can always start another one, so don't sweat the small stuff.

Good job for reaching out, now listen to the veterans and let those babies grow.

First off, seedlings should be in a humidity dome to keep moisture in.
In my opinion and experience seedlings should be out of any dome within 24 hours. You're just asking for damping off which is very common. You keep a dome fully fogged up I would bet even money they are gonna rot and flop over in 3-5 days.
