Hey there everyone, starting next year I will be growing my medicine indoors. I have what I feel is a really good location(entire studio apartment), but I need some help on the logistic seeing as how I've never set up an indoor grow.

The questions right off the top of my head is what would be an adequate airflow for a 96 sqft flower room, with 4x400hps?

Money isn't too big of a concern but I would like to not put myself in debt to accomplish this grow.

I would like to pull 3+ harvest a year as I make CBD and THC pills and products for med patients and veterans. Any input you may have would be greatly useful to me.

air flow is not a problem .....your number of lights
96 sft (round up) 100 ......4 x1000w would be barely enough (outside edges would be at the lower lvls) your going to need something to reflect back the light and get it up there for the yield

as for air flow that is super simple........cool tubes hoods (air hoods) it passes high volumes of air over the bulbs to lower ....u would be a 2 6 inch inline fans hooked into a 6x6x8 wye junction to the ejection point.....if u need to hide the smell 2 carbon filters for the front of the 2 lines .....the best way would be the fan in the center of 2 hoods so one is suck and the other is blow so the build up of heat does not trip the fan off (alot of them have temp senors to save the motor 130/140 they turn off).....the last part in air is the air flow itself ......u do this u are moving 800 cfms ....that will cause air from outside to be sucked in u need to think about this and make a air flow path to avoid it sucking it from cracks ...the ac in a window unless designed otherwise is about 85% sealed up u will need more


but to do this means u are pulling alot of watts and amps .......the 1000w ballast is going to be like 12/11 amp starting up so that means they need their own breaker as most places are 15 amps
so 4 lights 4 breaks plus support gear fans dehumidifiers so 2 more then u need to add one more for the AC needed so u are looking at 7 breakers doing about 4500-6000 watts a hours

HID lights make alot of IR heat when u are on HPS ......a central system will be running all the time
