use some plastic containers or something under the short ones to level things out.
Hey Growdict, thanks for the advice. I've been thinking about doing that, but I've read that you want to keep 3w LED's about 18" from the plants, and the shorter ones are only about 14" away at this point. The taller two (White Lavendar and Skunk #11) are only about 9" away at their tallest colas. The side of the tent I'm using for the Phatt Fruitys is the side with the additional 24w bulb as well, which has a very concentrated beam. Think I over vegged for my space... It's very crowded

you can do both...if your wanting to try, snip the flowers off her just before they're fully ready but cut them close as you can to the bud side, maybe leave a small stalky bit 1-3mm, she'll go back to veg for a while but leave lights as flower mode, 2-4wk she'll re-bud, do this 2 or three time but look for the (i call 'em coconuts), hermie bits....you cant miss 'em, (they're faster to mature than the flowers) they look like Bannanas when open, cut one or two off before they open, hang in a jar warm, get pollen and fertilize the flowers you want to cross. easy
The ones still on Scraggler will do the bizniss on itself......congrats your a diy breeder.
Other folk do it a bit different, but thats how i do it....or very similar.
they need more food when they flower feed her up she's having Babies!!!! :weed:

it took me 15 min to type that out, am getting faster. 8-) hope your successful
Haha well thanks for putting in the time typing Pookat! The only hesitation I have about doing that would be that the scraggly plant ended up in the solo cup because it was the least healthy of the five I germinated. I'm not sure that I'd wanted more of that strain (skunk/Norton lights hybrid - can't remember the company off the top of my head)

Thanks Herk, the nutrient pack (General Organics - Go Box) came with Cal-mag so i'll up the dose a bit and watch for new spotting
I've used the go box it works really well with ocean Forrest & happy frog soil it didn't work so well in e& f coco hydro for me I'm wanting a led but have only a couple grows on my present set up my growroom is 4x6 the 800w. Roleadro on Amazon catches my interest especially since people like you & jrock are getting results using these products I'm currently using a galaxy 250-400 switchable setup that will use either mh or hps bulbs it's pretty efficient but I really miss my 600w hps & if that led would do the work of the 600 & only cost as much to run as my current setup ($25-$30) a month to operate I could really do things I'm also running 2 waterfarm buckets people are getting really good yields using these & 400 w. lights

Glad to hear you've liked your results from the Go Box/Ocean Forest in the past! I've never used Happy Frog - do you have a preference between it and Ocean Forest? Ya, one of the biggest factors for me getting an LED was curiosity. If I already owned an adjustable wattage MH/HPS setup I'd probably stick it out with that for a while but you know what they say... The grass is always greener. What size space do you run your light in? Does it usually run at 400w for flower?

I'm curious about the performance of the Roleadro COB's. Sounds like they have better canopy penetration, but I like that my Galaxy Hydro produces so little heat.

I'm not familiar with the waterfarm buckets. Will have to do a little research on them

I got about the same results with happy frog &ffof oddly enough miracle grow moisture control soil gave me good results as well but you gotta keep in mind it has nutrients in it so I cut what I feed them in half at first but I'm not a soil grower at heart this my first grow with a waterfarm & ive learned a few lessons from the school of hard knocks mainly about over feeding there is a link to my grow at the bottom of the post I'm gonna use the switchable hps for awhile as it has worked pretty good for me

Do you happen to know if they make an organic version of the Miracle Grow Moisture Control? I've never grown hydro - im intrigued but I'm going to keep it simple for now and do soil. I'll take a look at your grow!

image.jpg Day 22 Flowering:

One of the White Lavendar top colas from above. This plant has a large number of tops. It's probably my favorite plant that I'm growing. Supposed to be Sativa dominant, and I'm more of a fan of Sativa personally. I might buy some more of these seeds for my next grow, depending on how they look later into flower

26 days into flower: A shot with two of the plants taken out. Gives you an idea of how little light is getting down to the lower branches. Think it's safe to say I over vegged/over topped and trained for my space. Phatt Fruity to the back left, white lavender to the back right. Little scraggly Skunk/NL in the solo cup.image.jpg

Pretty sure this is nitrogen deficiency towards the bottom but maybe you guys know better than I do...

Could this bleaching be related to a lack of light on the lowest stems? I've ruled out LED bleaching as its only apparent on the lowest stems, which are definitely not getting too much light.

Awesome journal. I'm so pumped seeing your results - far greater than I thought possible with a light like that (mine is comparable, LED with roughly same power used). Keep up the great work!

Thanks Staticzero! Better than I'd expected up until now as well. The 24w was a late addition, so the 300w is responsible for most of the the results thus far. I'll be checking in on your grow - excited to see what your space turns into

Look great man! Have a similar set up in the same size tent! How was the temp fluctuation
Thanks Vinny! What sort of lights are you running? Do you have a journal going? The temperature fluctuation has really depended because of the season changes and my roommates lead foot when it comes to the thermostat... I'd say that on average I get 15 degrees Fahrenheit of variation from lights off to on. Average temps being something like 67 to 82F. How have you been doing on temp fluctuation?
