HELP WITH SEEDLING

With this setup it’s not gonna work out the way you want there’s to much light escaping then how can you keep your plants in complete darkness even if they are female plants they’d probably hermie on you cuz they won’t have a correct night schedule the grow room setup and planning stuff out is probably one of the most important things about growing why waste money on a light if you’re not going to maximize it
They are bag seed and even then during the night outside plants dont have complete darkness and Also the room is in my basement at night its pretty much pitch black so by covering up the window with duct tape they will be able to get 12 hours of almost close to complete darkness so i will still be able to get a decent first harvest

Also i was planning on getting a grow tent but i dont have the money for the ventilation so i just thought i would just do it this way

Hey one of my plants true leafs seem to be doing bad can you help me with this
Newbie myself, but FWIW it doesn't look fatal. The plant's been "handled" so much that damage was inevitable. The problem you've been having with the advice you're getting is that you're asking unanswerable questions: Will it be okay? Will it live?

NOBODY KNOWS what damage a particular plant can take and survive. NOBODY. If you re-read the thread the best advice you've gotten is "Uh, don't DO that anymore." You'd be just as far ahead on advice if you showed pictures of the seeds before planting and asked which ones would be great and which failures. Put seeds in dirt, water them - and wait TWO WEEKS to see if you got lucky (no sprout = no luck). You'll have the same success rate as 90% of the folks on here - then you can move on to all the NEW mistakes you'll make (and YOU WILL!!)

Hey i was just wondering what light schedule i should have my seedling at for the first week im currently doing 22/2 and was wondering if this is a good cycle for now until it starts it 2nd/ 3rd set of leafs them going to switch to 18/6 any thoughts ?

18/6 is kinda the 'gold standard' around here until flowering time. Mine did well at it - but be prepared for 2 weeks of 'small progress', followed by an amazing (remember I'm noob, too) amount of development shortly after...

If you're catching "metal hangers" on fire simply by hanging another lamp, you need to give up. You have shown you don't have the patience for growing, and now you're at risk of burning down your house.

I do have the patience my plants are actually doing great even the one with the broken sprout everything looks great other then the fact that the metal hangers caught on fire, i have no idea how this happened i tried to hang both lights one one hanger could this be why, do i need a significant distance in between both lights ?

"Metal catching fire" sounds like an electrical short somewhere. Is that possible?

Well, I AM a little skeptical - and the need for another light isn't too clear - but what the hell, maybe he'll fail upward!
The need for another light is because i found out the true wattage of my led light is only 115w which is really low so i added another 1000w light with true output of only 235 so together this makes up a 350w led setup which should be enough

You haven't shown enough PLANTS to justify another light, but oh well.

Now you have a 'short' problem (probably) - and the extra light and heat may wipe you out anyway (hopefully leaving you a house to live in)...
