Hard to say. I paid $475 for a big dumptruck load of mushroom compost. Been using in the garden and in the bush for 2-3 years and have at least half of it left. My soil mixes are over half MC with the bulk of the rest made up of Sungrow potting soil and peat moss, with lesser amounts of coffee grounds compost, chicken shit composts, Epson salts, bone and blood meal, lime, Holly-Tone organic ferts, course and fine vermiculite, gypsum and a few more I can't think of right now.

On average I use 5 gallons of soil mix and 5 gallons of MC per plant. I get 1-4 ounces per plant, according to the season.

Dude that's like a week's worth of weed you are growing. add in the cost of all the weed you have to buy while waiting for the next grow to finish an it will get expensive for an everyday smoker. I would personally need a 4x4 space filled out to be able to smoke all year would easily run $3000 to do it right. After the initial investment it shouldn't cost more than a few hundred a lb to grow

Well this would not work for you Lol. But lucky for me this was my 150 dollar grow which will be perpetual so it will yield me enough to make it to the next batch lol. If you smoke 4-8 ozs in a week I wanna hang out with you lol. I work all day so I'm a morning and bed time smoker so thus cheap baby setup works great for me. Quality smoke I'm not paying for is a win win

Probably more like 2oz a week how many plants are you growing? Must more than the 1 pictured? that plant for sure isn't 4oz

Tree fiddy???
My goal is for the rolling paper to be the most expensive part of the joint. Not counting time. I had help in that when my buddy gave me half a pallet of {hurricane damaged} bags of potting and top soil. He's in the green house business and sells to me at cost. When I tried to pay, he said they were paid for by the insurance, not to worry about it.

I stopped counting after the $3k mark.

Here’s some fruits of my labour though View attachment 4413082
Excellent trim job my friend!
To answer your question it cost me about $35 Per pound of outdoor this year but that is because I had most of the puzzle pieces already in place. But it was my cheapest year ever but the herbs turned out ok.
