Appears as though you're doing everything correctly and consistently. Those plants look great.

The leaves sticking straight out and perfectly flat is a sign that you're watering schedule and amounts are dead-on. I'm assuming that the soil you're using has nutrients in it, but once that wears out, what feed will you use?

You may already have your answer, but currently I have had no problems using 50/50 fox farms ocean forest and mother earth coco. You should layer the soil like it would be in the wild naturally. Pure fox farms at the bottom of the pot, 50/50 in the middle, and the very top, put a solo cups hole worth of pure coco where you want to plant your seed. This will gradually increase the levels of nutrients your plant receives at it grows.

Thank you for checking her out! My 1st plant lasted about 2 months without having to feed anything but water and it was only in a miracle gro soil. My plan for this one after some reading is to feed it with a top dressing of fresh ff soil after about 6 weeks. I left a good amount of space to be able to fill up the pot. I also have some dolomite lime I was going to mix in around that time as well. I figure if I start that at around 6 weeks then I won't see the nute deficiencies I saw from my previous plant at around 8 weeks. That's my plan as of now. I have some organic dry feed if that ends up not being enough. I have consistent ph water of around 6.5 and I don't want to mess with liquid feeds that leave me to have to alter the water ph every time, if that makes sense. Always open for suggestion and opinions though :)

That is actually a pretty awesome idea. I may try that in the future on an auto. I'm eventually going to grow some photos and I know transplanting is beneficial so I did it this time even though some have mixed opinions on transplanting autos. First ever transplant was a success. I'll be trying new things over time with each grow and that soil and potting method will be on the list. First on my list is keeping a plant alive and healthy until harvest and I'm still working on that one ;) haha

idk what the spots are...did they go away? maybe water spots. no big whoop though...plants look good...top later after a few more sets of leaves...that's my personal opinion. I don't like to prune too early.

Yeah they stopped happening. I realized after a lot of reading into it that it was most likely wind burn. My last plant I lost to bud rot so I had like 3 fans in there blowing the shit out of it to help prevent it from happening haha. I laid of the fans and have the dehumidifier going in the room so it's good. I've decided not to top this plant. But it's already starting to form flower sites so from what I've read wouldn't that be too late anyways? I'm going to wait till I've got a few good grows before I start experimenting

Was wondering about water gathering on the bottom of the pot and after research I got this little stand today. Fits perfect in the water tray.
I use that exact lift which I put the pot on and use a foil turkey pan underneath it all for the run off. They are expensive but will last forever and work awesome

Nice. I never would have though about a turkey pan. Now I'm going to think of stuff around the house I can utilize :)

You're growing an auto then? I wasn't aware sorry...You don't prune auto flowering plants...a bunch a guys probably already told you. I have only grown one in my time as a grower. I want the control to decide how big to make my plants but it's a personal decision.

Gotcha. And yes this is an auto. Seems like a too good to be true thing for a first time grower haha. But I'm trying

Day 51. Soooooooo. This thing got taller than I expected. It's already a foot taller than my first plant. It's about 4ft from the floor including the fabric pot. I hope its done with its flower stretch. How does it look other wise? If anybody sees anything I don't please let me know :)

I noticed that around this time on my last plant I already had bud forming if I remember right. But all the reviews I could find. These critical purple take a lot longer than the breeders time. I'm sure it varies from seed to seed.
