Hello people I'm first-time growing and my question is my lights r 150 watts led and they sais is equivalent to 300 WATTS and 2 led cob 50 watts wich for 3 plants sativa dominant on the tent 1meter for 1meter for 2 meters tall is analf? Another question is because is my first time growing i let them on veg for 2 months and one week on the moment they are on the cicle 12 /12 for 29 days the yield goin be less? I'm still new to leds aswell but 150w seems low to me, youll get a yeild but the bigger the light the better I have the same size tent 1m x1m x 2m and I'm using 2 x1000w now for this grow

I broke my led mount while moving it to the new house.
Is it in need of replacement or can I ignore it?

so not ideal, lights took longer than expected because of COVID so the clones were timed wrong and stuck in Dixie cups longer than I like. Anyway surprises for me so far 1) they drink more than under a 1000 water. 2) thought they wouldn’t stretch this much 3) I swear to god bud development is a few days faster, news to me and 4) feel like I need to back off on Lucas a bit. Anyway, ready for a learning curve.
Took 20 years to make the jump but impressed that this is 600 watts. Wow

hey guys, hope you can help me. i'm starting my first grow and saw a led 5u e27 62w 5850 lm. Do you think it´s okay to start with two of these for veg and improve later?? thanks a lot! lampada.png

Nice plants to start with, mate, and a really good light. Timber or diyled.uk? And you're right, all seems to be a little faster with LEDs. They will also finish earlier especially under CRI90.

If its your 1st LED grow make sure to keep the humidity under control. Air tends to dry out quickly under strong LED light and if the humidity gets too low the plants are forced to drink much more water (because of the high vapor pressure deficit or VPD) and this can end up with excess nutrient uptake. In most cases the first signs of a too low humidity/too high VPD is a magnesium deficit which occurs within a few days and is caused by too much calcium uptake. It gets locked out and it takes a while to get the plants back in good shape so its better to avoid VPD issues from the beginning.
If you don't know that before switching to LED's it can be a serious issue. I myself learned it the hard way. Luckily youtube is full of explaining videos and you also find info online. Even grow controllers with VPD settings are available but they need a humidifier to work.
But there are two ways to deal with it.
You can either increase the humidity to at least 60-65% and you're fine in most situations or you lower the nutrient strength accordingly to allow the plants to drink more water without uptaking too much nutrients. Lets say the VPD is 20% too high(or humidity 20% too low) you can simply give them 20% less nutes and the nutrient uptake will stay within a healthy range.

Good luck, bro! I'm pretty sure you'll beat you hps yield record with the 1st try. This light is bad ass

Yeah, got the humidifier going and it’s at 65 in the tent. Got the controlled fans thinking ahead but still backed off the nutes a little this last feed cause I was nervous looking at them.

Hey guys i have a single qb96v2 elite running a meanwell 100w driver on a single plant 2x2 area W/ heavy LST. Will it produce good yeild for it what it pull from the wall? Seeds are fem green crack in happy frog soil x advanced nutes grow micro bloom. I ask because everyone here runs them at 150+ and i got a 100w driver by accident and not planning on taking it back.

Oh shit, just realized one of my MOBs is in fact a Blueberry. I knew I mislabeled one but had a 1 in 8 chance of getting it wrong. Of course. Still will be fun to see the blueberry under LED, it is such a heavy producer with beautifully easy trim buds.

so this is crazy. Two weeks from flip and to me it looks like I’m 4 to 6 days ahead of normal with this strain. Also plants are huge and I only have 6 more inches to raise the lights. Gonna start pinching stems, no other choice. So word of warning to people thinking of LED, they grow just as fast or faster than HID and that includes the stretch. Was totally not prepared for this.

Decided to start another tent. A3x3 tent with my home made 320 watt led light
Had the tent and light in storage as i do not smoke 3x3 worth of pot
So been growing in my led powered 2x2.5 tent
Setting it up to grow regular seeds that need sexed and potentially loose 1/2 the grow to maleness.

Very interesting inforamtions here.
Air tends to dry out quickly under strong LED?
I have to say that i have problems to go below 58% humidity with 5 x 240W pannels. I let my room temperature going up, until 30 celsius, but my leaf temperature is 25 celsius maximum who gives me a poor VPD of 0,7. Whith a 45%, i would be ok with the room temperature + leaf temperature, but it is impossible to reach 45% for me at this moment.
The plants themselves looks to increase the room humidity a lot. Have a 1100m3/h running 24/7 at 70% capacity. Tried 100% capacity and even less. 58% is the lower i can get.
I dont really want to run my dehumidifier, because the air gets hotter, while the RH goes down, and i cant get any stable VPD witht his. Plants are looking nice, and they are growing well, BUT, i can clearly see that they are not eating as much as they are supposed to. I can't go over EC 1.1 and they are now starting their 5th week of flower.
I got some cal/mag issue all over the grow, i now understand why. They seems to need always more and more cal/mag.
I wish my air id drying, but this is not the case. I have IR leds on all my panels, and i can't increase leaf temperature. In fact LST seems to be the same lights off, at a room temp of 25 or 30. Have to IR guns that measure the same thing.

I popped an old Philips Retrofit CMH 250w 4000k into my flower tent over 3 months with COBs and a 135watt Quantum Board. Plants love it and use much more water and most buds seem more complex and a bit stickier. Gives a little IR as well as a little more UV. Pretty intense in that tent.

Does CMH increase your Leaf temperature as much as an HPS do it ?
