Chronic I dried them in a large grocery store bag, and they are dry to the bone. I should have checked, but, you said...

So, I am wondering whether, when drying small amounts like this, whether a bag half this size would be better, as it would slow down the process. That would give me more control and perhaps produce a more potent bud.

Thoughts?

Yeah...they should not be dried in a bag...How long did you hang them for...? If they were dried too long...well... point of return and the process of 'sublimation' will not take place in the freezer.

I first air dried for 6 days ~ 83*s but < 35% humidity. From there they went into the paper bag in the same closet. No doubt the lack of humidity played a role too

I went back to your suggestion. Somehow I overlooked that it was supposed to go into the freezer. Now it's making sense

Subbed up....finally..
Running t5 cfl, few cw cfl globes ,a led spotlight and a homemade 10w red led flood (cant member nm) in my combined veg/clone tent and 600hps sontagro in the flower.. Want to change to all t5s or t8 leds in the future..
My current t5 is an aquarium fixture from ebay.. Globe is half white, half actinic blue ..seems to work ok..?
Sorry for hijacking your thread Pet but Scroga i keep getting e-mails from sonwy lighting co.,ltd. They have a new t8 led tube that might be worth checking out. Heres a pic of the light.

Final Tally, keep in mind I gave ~ 8gms dry weight as a payment. AND, I used a large grocery bag to dry them in. It was too big for this small amount and sucked up all the moisture. I can restore it with a piece of celery, but smaller bags for small amounts should slow the drying process

I neglected to take a close up, been dealing with lower back pain for 2 weeks, not thinking clearly

Well parabolic makes sense to me, but they don't have a patent on it, so first clue not everything here is true. Saw a tab to make money so... and finally 6' x 6' not likely, oops and the price... You can buy 2 A51s for that (@ 2 x 3 coverage?), maybe Apache Tech too, and possibly Astirgrows.com: not sure they have US distribution yet

Yes, COB's/multichips do put light out in very wide angles. They are in dire need for better optical packaging, and this looks promising. Tbh, I wonder if the Chip-Lock array holders are all that's needed. It looks like that alone would reduce the beam angle to ~120 degrees, or so. And they accept COB's from Bridgelux. My guess is that includes the Decor COB's (high CRI, ~30-35W: 90 CRI min, 95 CRI min).
