Lighting

And really your suggesting hlg too? LMFAO Overpriced & junk. Brother I designed grow rooms for thousands of people with different budgets & for someone on a low budget I can have them set up in a 4 by 4 with everything they need to pull good yields for less then the cost of your light alone & half the electric cost & I guarantee the yields & quality won't be much different & actually think mine will be more cause your light will only cover a 3 by 3 & the Aglex cob 2000 ($240 USD) flowers a 4 by 4 easy at 30 inches has more power then needed to bloom a 4 by 4 & has UV which if you knew how to do research would know that it produces trichomes..you know the stuff were all after that holds the THC! In conclusion, if you want an overpriced light that doesn't cover shit listen to this guy, if you want a good quality yield at a reasonable price then listen to the guy who actually does this on the daily & has been running grows before this guy was even a twinkle in his daddy's eye.
How many pounds do you pull off a 4x4 with your Aglex 2000? Lets see your pics. Until then I stand by that light being garbage. It's a cheap chinese blurple. Are you selling them?

LoL and I actually have designed multiple commercial grows, not to mention many personal scale grows and black market "commercial" grows. Some legal grows I have designed are in Colorado, Nevada (Vegas), Oklahoma and now adding Missouri to the list. So I know a thing or two about a thing or two. ;)

Does it look like I'm selling them. I agree most Chinese blurple lights suck but NOT ALL. And for a low price craft grower it is the best light for the money.

Oh look everyone, we got ourselves another one!!!

Renfro, dont even bother, the posts speak for themselves, aint no reasoning there bro.
And how do the posts speak for themselves other then logic. The kid wants something cheap to pull good yields & your boy is telling him to buy a $600 light that only works on a 3 by 3 which is not worth it & not cheap at all. If you can't see the point then your either a first time grower, your just sticking up for your buddy even though he is wrong, or you are just uneducated.

So I would love to hear what you recommend for a cheap grow? Cause you are still saying use a $600 light.

I feel bad for whoever you did that for cause they got ripped off & personally I don't believe you due to your lack of knowledge in your posts just like the other thing I commented on where your taking about your bud is so dry that it turns to dust & you put water on it. And saying you never had bud for more then a min and thought you couldn't store flower for long. Your lack of knowledge on drying & curing & just naming the most popular lights that if articles & videos of people that aren't versed in lighting suggest. Anyone who is educated on the matter wouldn't recommend a $600 light that only covers a 3 by 3 in flower. This is what I do & what I was raised doing & has been a multi generation trade that is second nature to me. I only came here to give some advice on low priced grows which I enjoy helping others on a low budget with. If any of you have something educational that will help this guy then please comment .. if not & your just talking shit & have nothing real to say then move along.

Ohhhh I see. You are trying to profit off it. And I don't believe you at all..name the company name & state & your company & name. Bet I look into it through my contacts & sources & prove your making stuff up. I can tell by your comments & lack of knowledge that you wouldn't even know where to start when creating a commercial grow. Hell, you can't even figure out what a LOW budget grow is. You think a $600 light in a 3 by 3 is low budget. SMH

Hi Everyone, I’m a first time indoor grower, up to now I’ve been strictly outdoors.

On a tight budget. Grow room: 3ft x 3ft.
Thinking of a Roleadro 600W Led Grow Light Full Spectrum.

Is 600W enough?

Anybody know if that’s an ok choice? It’s low priced, or ist there any other make available in Europe up to 150£?

RW

Wrong. It's the best light for the money only if you can put the lamp above a pot of soil and grow money with it.

For about $150 or less, one could get a 600W (or possibly even a 1000W) lamp, with both HPS and MH bulbs, a digital dimmable ballast, and an air-cooled hood.

Now that's worth the money, and you can actually grow cannabis with it.

studies have shown that HPS will outperform LEDS https://thegreensunshineco.com/hps-vs-led-grow/ and are much more cost effective way to grow
I think that most people are aware that with the same PPFD HPS can outperform LED.

But the test looked only at spectrum (as the guy from the article also says)
I doubt if HPS is more cost effective in the end. The article also doesn't state this.
On the contrary, the reason why LED can be more cost effective:
- Sure buying an HPS set will cost you less then buying an LED fixture. But a HPS bulb has to be replaced every 5 grows or so. They are not really expensive, but still.
- HPS consumes way more electricity. It will make a difference year after year.
- LED produces less heat, so you need smaller exhaust fans and filters. Saves you money as well.

We're talking LED & you will spend a ton of money trying cooling your grow with equipment & electricity. And it will do better then your 600 hps. I can do this all day..this isn't my first rodeo & I research everything.

Someone who jumps on a year old thread, says im about to buy one myself after tons of research and then a few posts later says he's already got one.
I have one model & am getting the other. And what does it matter the age of a post? Your obviously just a troll & we don't need idiots like you in the cannabis community.
