This light would be 100 times better then my blurple light since plants use more then just blue and red that blurple grow LED lights have. The XS1500 Pro offering wavelengths closet to that of natural light along with focusing lenses means more light penetrates the canopy two fold, 1st being with more spectrum since far red IR and green light penetrates the canopy to be used by lower leaves and buds, and 2 with lenses that focus light thus increasing par intensity with more depth then can be achieved by certain LEDs.

With a par map that this light provides supplemental lighting wouldn't be needed like other setups since there is practically no drop off in light intensity outside the middle, which would be great for my setup where I often rotate my plants and have the lights moved over to provide different parts of the plants more light intensity.

Edit: I have no friends, I'm a newb here though not a newb in growing my medicine.

yes the product comes with new gen lens and in my opinion i think that this would actually help out the grower and the plant by growing bit better by having the lens pentrate the canopy and plant to help it grow. This light would go perfect in my 3x3 tent Best of luck @rolla_j @cloudhigh420

I've got a 2x2 I could test this light in, I love my vs3000 I won here. The dimming knob is so awesome and I'd recommend it to people looking for a light I've gotten two grows in with it now and the diodes are all fine still.
@ISK @Frank Nitty @Bob Bitchen @HydroRed

I think it should come with the lens or maybe have an option

Always love seeing new lighting upgrades --since starting growing plants indoors the whole industry has changed so much it is a cool seeing how rapidly everything is changing
Sexy looking light I am excited to see a journal with it

I will give these a shot. I am taking down the Viparspectra P2000 that I have in a 2x4 and will replace it with 2 of these new XS1500's. Should give me much better coverage in that space. Should be interesting to see how they perform. Will toss up a journal soon. Good luck all.
What was your setup of you don't mind, Joe many plants and yield?

Damn! @Doug Dawson runs smaller than i do?!?

The lenses would be an interesting experiment, although much like Doug, I don't weigh my harvest. so who we calling @Tracker @Wizzlebiz and @HydroKid239

Worth a shot right guys?
What size space you running bud? I do have a grow room but 2 of the tents are in it as the lights and tents were given to me by sponsors so I never bothered converting the room as a whole. The lenses do interest me though and Vipar gave me 2 of the lights to run so I figured what the heck. The P2000 was a decent light but didn't do great on the sides of the 2x4 so this should be a decent light upgrade for that space anyway.

3x4, 4x4, and a 5x5. My 4x4 is shut down for now, it's just waiting for the girls to veg. That and I'm trying to time out my perpetual again after Mite War 1. I have to say, your work sir, is EXEMPLARY! Just saw the Blue Kush haul, and your Sour Grape haul is still inspiring. I'm still trying to get my first seed run completed. Hell, I'm still trying to get enough clones to root. Sorry completely of subject, my apologies @ViparSpectra.

They have next gen lenses that concentrate light, less light loss, even ppfd distribution.should translate into heavier harvests of quality flowers. It will when I get my hands on it$$$$$$
@bk78 , @Johiem, @idlewilder. I got a 2 x4 tent I would love to try this out on. Currently running a 6 tube 4 foot t5 floro. I need an upgrade!$!$!!!
