Quit acting like their new white LEd boards suck. They grow plants. Pretty fucking well too from what I'm seeing.
Im not disagreeing with that, but until you have actually grown a full crop to harvest with them, can you really say with 100% honesty just how good they are? And that they are better than the fotops, which i might add has grown out numerous crops on this very forum from start to finish, for all to see.

Yes i have seen some real nice pics, looks promising and the price point is decent, but lets not forget , its still the same company thats been selling 73,000 watt led grow lights that draw 112 watts from the wall for years and years, dont like honoring warranty and overall has been not much more tha a dropship light company. Until that changes, theres gonna be skeptics.

I was thrilled when i seen a few of you take the lights for testing, i figured we would get an unbiased review, instead you went full on lovefest for them, before even finishing a plant. I wasnt expecting that from a seasoned dude like you to be honest.

Do you see my POV now?

Mars has probably improved, but more diodes spread out over a larger space will win. I'd rather go Quantum board then Cob. More light spread.

(with quality Samsung + Osram diodes too, meanwell drivers are hard to beat also)

Id say a $250 CMH with a Philips or Hortilux bulb would kick ass in that 2 x 4, for sure quality

Those $240-$300 LEDS from China are junk.

Full on lovefest because I reccomended a light that will fit perfectly in his space that's in his $250-300 price range?

Ya i mighta over-dramatized it a bit lol

My point still stands tho, until you have finished a plant and can see the end result for yourself, you cant really say how good those lights are....2 months ago you wouldnt have suggested Mars to anyone, what changed? other than them giving you a light to test?

the possibility is still there that you might hate the end product and never hang those lights in your garden again. So until then, it seems silly to tell someone else to buy them over something thats already proven to grow dank.

Thats all im sayin. I like you, you seem honest and good-hearted, im not trying to shit on you, just calling it how im seeing it.

Here's one of my complete grows. Start to finish. Its a sponsored grow for a seed company. ( Dutch Seed Shop )

The world is your lobster
True and i do see most the lights are within my budget but im just sick of fucking things up by not finding the right info. I want to learn more about the lighting so i can move on from a 2x4 tent. Like i said im just confused by the specs that are listed and dont want to waste more money on lights i think will be powerful enough and end up doing very little. Appreciate the responses

What changed is their lighting.
You're right, we'll run through the full grow. Then we can call things as we see them.
