Mars Hydro Promotion-How to win a full refund?

I asked them because a person bought direct from Mars and they told this person that, in order to recieve a refund for the light if they won their contest, the light had to be bought from their eBay or aliexpress store. They seem super shady to me.

Probably nothing, but ebay sellers presenting as MH staff is naughty.
It isn't out of the realm of possibility that they are contracted by Mars directly, but more of an off-the-books way to boost off-site sales.
I've read on RIU over the years that Mars has had its fair share of sketchiness when it comes to marketing.
This is just a thought. I'm not claiming that's what's happening here, but it seems bizarre that when anyone calls out the OP for things that seem sketchy, the questions are completely and consistently dodged.

He's a business man, I dont see what's wrong with marketing the way he does social media is the greatest marketing tool in history especially for small businesses, he pays this site to be here if he can get free marketing from that investment than that makes him a smart businessman. And he even mentioned in this thread that you had to purchase from Ebay so if he is a scammer he would have been exposed by now, he was able to offer me a phenomenal deal on the 2000 model so I don't see what hes doing wrong.

thanks for your suggestion, we can forward your suggestion to the relative department. for the products. no worries, 100% authentic Mars Hydro led grow light and grow tent.Just have various department which may have different social activity. lack of experience on social activity, we are still learning and improve ourself. Hope we can offer more matured activity for our growers.

Dear bros, no worries, They are 100% authentic Mars Hydro led grow light,All the lights passed very strictly cetificated before the shipment. We do thank the growers for their support and their voluntary sharing. We never stop improving ourselves and hope they are proud of us.
Do the giveaway and 420 sale are some way to thanks for their support and also give a chance for the new growers to know about Mars Hydro.

My concern is whether YOU are a 'Mars Hydro employee' or individual selling Mars Hydro lights???
MH offer different warranty times, service agreement changes etc

I am a member of Mars Hydro Team. Warranty are guaranteed. no worries. if the seller is authorized by the Mars Hydro. The warranty are the same as Mars Hydro.

Have spoken to 2 members of another forum in last 24 hours who got only 3 months warranty after purchasing lights from a person who said they represented MH but when units arrived, they were reselling and full warranty was not honoured by MH

could you please send us the seller you mentioned? there is a great demand on Mars Hydro. currently, more and more other unauthorized sellers copy Mars hydro's pictures and sell them with low price. in that way, the warranty is not guarranted by the Mars Hydro, Please understand that. so please tell me the seller name. and hope i could do some help for you. thanks.

Sorry @MarsHydrofactory asked them both 1st thing, but they don't wanna get involved (one of them still inside 3 month period) and is not prepared to risk losing what little warranty they have by reporting their seller too soon.
Second guy, bought two sp250s 8 months ago and after one broke (and repair refused by dealer- e.g. 4 month after purchase) he has since bought a KB hlg board, got rid of his working sp250 & saying he will never buy MH lights again cause he feels robbed.
I like your sentiment, but not likely you'll be able to help me out anytime soon.
If they do decide to share information, I will relay.
