Right? So happy she is meeting your expectations. Great seeds in hands of a so-so grower can hurt your efforts to show what BrandX is capable of. So, thanks for trusting me!

In a couple days I will drop the ufo much lower, this will automatically lower the supplement lights. Wait until you see those buds. I finished a grwo with the mother of my current clones this way, but nowheree near as dialed in. You can see that result over on eye see mag

Did you see the 2 clones in the lower right hand corner?

My ufo is 3+ yo, the diodes probably 4 year old Flintstones tech

Have you seen what HiloReigns is doing with 21w?
Now that's impressive, of course he is using CREE XTEs + Merkaba Cluster

I would have staid the course without the ufo, but I wanted to make sure your seeds got a fair shot with the most wattage I had available

Clones will likely be sans ufo

yeah i saw the clones, they will flower if the lights on 12/12 even though they are rooting. but they look healthy. but no i got faith in petflora, if you can build DIY aero you can grow a plant.

Good thing you never saw my early aero failures- mostly heat/humidity (which I cannot control without investing in an ac) + my Sentinel Timer has a 12 AND 24 hour setting, so aero plants were starving every night. Took me awhile to trace that back to the source

Now I try to finish before June and not start until new moon in late September

i picked up 3 crees @ HD. do you suggest doing anything to focus the light or just using it for supplemental lighting?

Both tents are flowering. The LED tent has lots of small bud sites, including TDC.

While this is very exciting, it means I need to stay ahead of drawing water from my RO system.

Yesterday I made up 2G of fresh nutes for my HOT5 tent, this morning > 1 gallon consumed.

My RO is capable of fairly high product water, but it is confined by 2 things, well mostly one- storage tank size. Since mine is under the kitchen sink, I have 3g tank, but can only get ~ 2 gallons at a time. It takes ~ 4+ hours to fully recover. I can buy and add a booster pump board which would provide near unlimited GPD

Going to take 2 more clones from the bottom of BrandX. Tops are better choice, and will root faster, but the lowers will also root. To expedite, I make a ~ 1/2" slice at the base, + scrape same to remove the hard woody component

I've been struggling to come up with a name for this lovely BrandX cross. What would represent her most difficult journey to date?

First, I could not find the seeds, and after 4-5 days of rechecking, I to decided to wash and wear the T shirt that the seeds were stealthily sent in. After drying I was in the process of folding the T up, fortunately there was lots of daylight back lighting the T, and then I saw the 2 packets in the collar. Oh shit, there they are. Now what? Could the seeds possibly survive?

This shortly after me finding 4 stray mmj seeds in a package of brown rice. They did not survive the rice drying process. Would these? Nothing to lose, so I dropped them in water. 2 days later the husk cracked but after 3 days and still no tap root, I said F it, and popped them in starter cubes. A couple days later, 2 cotyledons popped. Fast forward to now, and according to Poly she is doing really well, so ... putting all this together, (and her being a girl disqualified naming her Lazarus- actually, he's upstairs gonna collect some pollin and fert a couple of her lower branches).

I decided on Phoenix

I would not disrespect all the hard work you've put in to get to this point. Classy always wins the day

Plus, whether it's plant or animal, both respond to the negative just as they do the positive

Besides,

She's got the best frame I've grown in over 3 decades.
She has lots of lower bud sites,
and she already smells sweet

Maybe I should have named her Marylin (Monroe), or Sophia (Vergara) but def not Kim (Kardassian)
. Great frame, not classy enough for my girl

LED tent

Imagine how much faster Phoenix will build buds now that I doubled her ppms. PPMs were down to 340! I have to keep a closer watch on her as her rez is < 2g

It's been warm here, turned the ac on yesterday afternoon, and again an hour ago.

Temp inside her tent is 81, so flaps are semi open, circ fan blowing constantly

In the last 2+ days she has grown 2 inches.

Checked clones P1/2 The longer one has a nice little 'go T', the shorter does have some roots.

P3/4 are in the window sill, looking good.

The problem with the clones is both tents are in flower mode (12/12). I have a spare timer, looks like I will need to use one of my many totes as a tent. Well that's easy enough.

Thanks Poly. Had you not mentioned the clones would flower under 12/12, I would have lost them to becoming full size.

I had an extra vanity fixture laying in wait (plan was to use it for flowering, but I went with the ufo instead). My EcoSmart 850l NW bulb was currently unemployed. From my hpa aero experiments I have several totes on hand with drilled
lids.

I cut a longer piece of air tube to reach from my 4 head pump inside Phoenix's tent, and ta da, near instant grow tent

What you can't see is: I repositioned the circ fan so it hits both tents

The clones on the left are from my upstairs plants. Shit P3/P4 are in the kitchen window. Not for long.

It's so hot here that when I checked my upstairs HOT5 tent (open beam ceilings) it was 89*+!. Went outside and took the hose to the roof. 15 minutes later, inside temp dropped to 86.7. Doesn't sound like much, but the room is now 'comfortable'. Earlier, I increased feeding from every 2 hours to every hour (during light on)

must be nice where you are lol. its snowing and shit here. :( i about got killed by a snow plow, spun out on the freeway several times and couldnt make it up a country hill almost, has to stop half way maneuver the car around without driving off a cliff and drive to the top backwards.

If that happened to me, I would be too fn drunk and/or stoned to do anything except crawl under the blankets

Glad you're safe

thanks for the warning - before putting metallic tape everywhere, I first covered what looked like the hot +/- leads with electrical tape so as not to inadvertently touch them in any way.

I don't know if anyone has told you yet......but those leds run at 220v! be Very careful handling it when it is on and unprotected (with plastic diffuser removed)in this design........good luck grower
