The new Crees like many are CAPABLE of running at EITHER 110 OR 220- still shocking if not careful

Back to my grow...

Where it was 91 just 3 days ago, the next 7 days will be in the low 70s., with tonite in the 40s. Yesterday I had to run the air con until about 6pm, then the ambient temps dropped from high 80s to mid 70s

Phoenix has grown ~ 4" (35" and counting) since doubling her nute ppms. will have to take away the small base under the bubbler tote. Done. See photo

Cobbling together a small bubbler t put inside the clone tote. Again, all parts on hand from prior experiments

Alas, not near as many bubbles as I hoped. The blue circle stones are too tight, so I went to large Oxy cylinders, only a little better. I could bring out the bad ass 70L/m pump, but it's so fn noisy, and I am in the same room with them

P is drinking like crazy. Just added 1/2g of nutes

Clone Tote

I moved the twin air pump for my HOT5 rez to the clone tote. I added the blue discs and getting plenty of bubbles

Turned Big Bertha (70 L/M pump) on the HOT5 rez, mega overkill, but hey I own it. I muffled it by covering it with a large kitty litter pail. May need to shove some sound absorbing material in there too

HOT5

My spray bar needs some tweaking as coverage is a bit of a problem due to only using a central bar. I need to go back to splitting one bar along each side

Laz is not getting enough nutes, and so has slowed to a crawl. I am now hand watering.

Got off my butt this morning and reconfigured my pvc nute line back into 2 rails, one on each side, thereby doubling the spray heads for better coverage. This will allow more nutes to get into each AP, though roots are growing out the bottom and drink anyway

sub 60* weather pushed back until tomorrow. Plants are loving low 70 days and low 60 nights. Me too!

A couple clones have already rooted, one quite well under the 12w 850 lumen 5000K EcoSmart

Uncle Bens' Avatar was grown completely under hps, so I decided to replace the 12w with my Feit 22w 1600 lumen 3000K

Just hope they don't outgrow the tote before the other tents finish- it could happen, as both are > 3 weeks to harvest

^ Thanks for the correction. I swapped the bulbs yesterday.

There is a RIU thread titled Monster Cropping. The technique is to take clones with marble size buds. These are supposed to devlop into bushes instead of growing tall.

I tired it with the plants that are finishing in my HOT5 tent, but they look just like their mother. I think I took them too early.

Anyway, I took one from Phoenix and put it in the place of the non WH clone.

Replacing one Quantum Flower bulb with a ATI Blue Actinic has paid dividends in both tric production and more swollen calyxes. So today, I swapped out the other Quantum Flower for another ATI BA

This is way more blue than I would have thought beneficial, so will keep an close watch on whether the second ATI is counterproductive.

its a 10000k? yeah i like them in flower too. good results here using the quantum 10k and 5400k in flower with the HPS. as well as as x2 zoomed and x2 UVL 10k(which are the reddest looking 10k bulbs ever, no green light whatsoever)

what i mean is when they are nex to other bulbs that do emit green light they appear red even tho they emit a blue color. wierd right?

oh and ill get you a pic on what a true monster cropped clone looks like. if you do it right, they will be looking dead by the time you get roots and for a while after that too. :/
here it is

yeah its got roots and this one will pul though, its diffucult but i do quite few of them at a time to ensure one or 2 survive, i take them around week 4 of flower.

Quantum Flower is 2900

Don't know what K rating the ATI is. The majority of its' range is 400-440, peaking at 421. Also has a small 550 peak

LED Tent

Buds are now full marble size (~3/4")

Just replaced one 6.5 WW (closest to UFO) with a 50w Reptile Intense Spot, which is heavy FR/DR

Nute ppms reduced to ~ 650 on the way down to flush

LED Tent

Phoenix is now >39". The top foot is going to be one cola

I added a 50w Reptile Intense Spot DR/FR

HOT5 Tent

All is extremely well here. Lots of trics and swollen calyxes. Late yesterday I decided to replace one ATI Actinic Blue with a Quantum Flower in hopes of bulking up even more

I saw a thread @ slickdeals - at home depot you can pickup the philips par38 3000K flood bulb @ $25 if you set your home store to Augusta, ME. If you buy 2 then shipping is free. They show as backordered until 4/10. Just trying to be helpful for those that are taking the PetFlora approach.

^^Depends on how many watts/lumens etc

Temps are back up in the low 80s and expected to hit 88 in the next day or two. sucks for trics but nothing I can do. Morning temps inside the LED Tent ~ 80*s! so I have to open the flaps and use my recirculating fan throughout the day. Even with that, temps are high 70s.

HOT5 Tent

Actinic Blue Experiment

One plant has side branches on each side of the fixture, so one was getting ATI the other QF. The ATI side had more trics, but the QF side has more bulk
and somewhat fatter calyxes. This morning I replaced the other ATI Actinic Blue with Quantum Flower. I may reintroduce the ATIs during the last week

LED

Buds have doubled in size since adding the Intense Spot. The lower branches were not getting much light so I added an extender and moved the Philips 17w down low

I thought the top 12" was going to be one cola, but side branches are popping right where the Intense Spot is most concentrated

HOT5

Dropped ppm from ~ 700 to ~ 600.

Will also drop hours from 12/12 by half an hour for 2 weeks, then drop again. Last grow with these plants, I had to drop to 10/14 and cut the lights from 8 bulbs down to 4 before they would finish
.

I replaced the second ATI Blue Actinics with another Quantum Flower as the buds were getting fatter under the side with one Q F. Most likely reinsert the ATIs during the last week + one Wave Point Coral Wave

LED Tent

Changed nutes out this morning ~ 590. Root ball looks very healthy. Buds are ~ doubling in size every 2 days. I think she would like 50-100 more watts
