MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

Smell is delicate and fragrant. It would make a great perfume for women. Better than bacon

I may finish her under the HOT5. Those plants are ~ 15 days away, so will know a lot more on how Phoenix is doing by then

After a week of adjusting pH and ppms in my rez it occurred to me to convert to D2W. Easy to do, just reroute the drain tube to an empty container

during flower, and especially during heavy flower the plants dump high pH waste. Better to not have it recirculate, even if pH adjusted

And since I am feeding only 3xs
during lights on, with each feed/spray < 16ozs, it's easy to replenish from premixed nutes

I'm excited to see what the next week brings

Also reduced ppms to ~ 340 as plants look like they may be 10-15 days from harvest

HOT5

Thanks to some cooler weather, this tent is finishing lot faster than I thought it would earlier this week. So, I replaced the other Quantum Flower (bulb post #4) with a Wave Point Coral Wave, which, in addition to a strong blue 400-430 (similar to the ATI Actinic Blue, but dipping to 380) also has FR/DR
(660-780)

Aside from socket positioning being too far apart (neither arranged in Merkaba cluster), this is as simple as it gets...

very cool.

the only reservation I have for using a bank of e27s for the main lighting is that you run the risk of cheap ac\dc circuits that burn out before the led burns out.
Kind of the case with cheap mass produced cfls since each of the bulbs has to have its own driver. cfls are supposed to last a long time but some brands just don't.

Now it would be even cooler to have a DC Track lighting system with changeable led track lights.

Depends on what you believe is worth while. If it's WW + NW, then yes. HiloReigns has proven that you can grow excellent bud with ONLY 28w of ONLY WW

Since I needed to change nutes I took some pics of Phoenix and her 6 clones.

Clones are in a ~ 15 x 20 tote with ONE 22w NW bulb

It's amazing how clones taken at the same time grow differently. Lower left and right taken at the same time. The 2 in the middle ~ 5 days later, and the top 2 after bud developed on each.

I guess it has more to do with the strength/viability of the branch you took it from that determines its initial growth huh?

I wouldn't say that. The plant is/was totally healthy from top to bottom, where all clones were taken

she looks fucking GREAT! it looks like all turned out well!

the clones.. plants dont transfet nutrients hormones and fluids evenly so each cut will have a difference amount. this also the reason clone are slightly genetically different.

those clones are loving that light.

you have every right to be proud your doing so awesome shit over there! in fact im surprised there arent more active posters what your doing with the "minimum" wattage is super fucking impressive. people just dont know, keep trucking man! you have definitely inspired me to give these basic led arrays a go.
