New growth twisting

How far away are your lights/what temps are in your grow space. This looks a bit like my plants when they get too close to my lights on occasion.

Light is 20" away from the tops. I just raised it, it was at 16-18". There was one hot day here a week ago that could have caused it but they're not recovering. Little unsure what it could be.

What type of lights do you have?

Gotcha, I'll raise it to 24" and see how that goes.
It’s not because of that T5. Leave it low. Do you check the pH on your feeds and water? What medium and what size container? Do you have air moving around? If so that fluorescent shouldn’t be a big heat issue under it. Just the ballast.

Roots organic soil. Usually pH is at 6.2, but My pH meter has been off by about 1 full point, New meter showed me the difference so it could be that. That was discovered yesterday, so if that's the case, I should see a change in a few days.
1 gallon pots now until transfer, then to 5 gallon.

Ya, it's not too close if that's a t5. I keep my t5's around 2". What are your temps?

Ya that's what I thought with the T5 also, and I like minimal mode spacing so I wanted to keep it close but I thought it might be too hot.

I prefer minimal node spacing also. Here's a pic I took a month ago. I just check em once a day and raise the light to 2" if they are closer. I have lots of air moving around them though.

That’s how you do it with fluorescents. T5 or CFL. I have this big fat 5500K bulb. Plants love that thing. It will burn if they touch it and they touch it. I wish I had an array of them. Equal to 150 watts.
