One hell of a thread ! Nug you are the man. Can you give us a timeline of your mainlined plants. Like when you top etc. kind of like a schedule? I know you mentioned before about when you top. But i would appreciate a schedule.

Not to butt in as a know it all (I'm FAR from that), but I would say each schedule varies on growth rate of X strain, environmental factors, etc. The right time is when your plant tells you it's ready... which would probably be by # of nodes/leaf sets. That's how I've been doing mine. If you haven't read Nugs' OG thread on mainlining yet, you should definitely check that out. I think it's in his signature, and then continues along into this thread.

Alright Nugs/Nerds, I'm out for the weekend. Hope you guys all have a good one. :peace:

Question for you Nugs, I have been reading this thread regularly since it started so I don't think that this has been asked yet, my apologies if this has been covered already...

I noticed that you will super crop a few branches to allow others to catch up. But it seems that you super crop them once you have your 8 or 16 heads established. I want to know if you can super crop sooner. Basically, let's say that you have 4 established heads and are working up to 8 or 16. 1 of the 4 heads is not as long as the others and is too short to be trained. So is it cool to super crop the other 3 and allow the 1 to catch up? I don't see why this would be much different than super cropping later on but figured I'd ask the pioneer of mainlining.

Thanks in advance.

Nice Question. +1 for you. I have my suspicions on the answer to this but will wait for Nugs...

absolutely!...i tend to do micro supercrops often.....just walking by my plants, i can't help but to tweak here and there........the only reason i do my tweaks after the mains are attached to the ring, is because sometimes flipping the branches under the ring shortens them up considerably......and you can use this to your advantage to equal out the canopy.....so i wait till i have the general shape going, and have all the mains in position before hitting the long ones....i will try and take some pics to illustrate what i am talking about, as i am at that point with my outdo run.....good question, thanks!
