Nutes and Rain?

These little ladies got their first dose of fertilizer on Sunday (some FF Big Bloom and 4-0-0 CalMag) thought they might be too young for Grow Big still; however, after I fed on Sunday it has been raining hard for the last 3 days. To me, they look like they either have nitrogen deficiency or be overwatered by the rain? The pots drain but are still heavy meaning the soil saturated. I’m afraid to add any N if they can’t uptake it anyway due to overwatering.

P.S. They also just seem really scrawny compared to other grows I’ve seen.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What kind of soil is that? it does not look like it has much perlite and its woodey af

I would transplant them into better soil with more perlite and more soil less wood

Soil looks like miracle grow soil to me looks hot and poor drainage

It’s a mix of kellog organic plus and miracle grow organic with added pearlite. It’s not the best but it drains decently and it’s not hot, the ratios of NPK are well under 1%.

But you think the soil looks hot, do you think it looks like nutrient burn? Should I maybe not give them anything for a week, besides water?

I do not like the looks of the soil I would remove them and mix in like 30% perlite water it out for while

Looks like a combo of too much water and too hot soil why i asked if it was miracle grow not trying be a dick its garbage for weed to hot

I would remove them carefully and make cheap tweak like add perlit or change soil out for new

These plants are super strong and if you tweak the medium and make them happier they will adjust faster

Any feelings on a mix of Miracle Gro Organic, Coco Coir, and Perlite? Currently out shopping and planned on picking up supplies to pot up some other plants.

Really appreciate the help, been doing a ton of research but it is just nice to have someone who’s grown give their opinion.

TBH i have never tried the new organic line so i can not say one way or the other

I will most likely never try another scotts/miracle gro product because i think they are all junk

This new organice line is most likely marketing hype

I would get a bag of perlite and swap one out

Just take one out set it on ground knock out the soil mix in 25-30% a few cups on perlite

See what ones do better as a test
