Overwhelmed with info. Need mentor. Help!!!

I guess my only real option is to set it up and test run and if I'm over 80 figure out a way to install additional cooling measures.

Maybe I go with an 8" inline instead of the 6. Guess I should set up everything with the exception of the cooling system then calculate the amount of cooling required.

Thanks for making me think on this one. I figured cooling would be no issue with such cold air intake. I'm on it.

Spent the last 6hrs devouring everything I could on LST.....

It would be no problem if you vent the damn thing.... But you're turning into a regular new guy w stupid ass ideas you want somebody to agree w.....

The room already has a vent going outside it just needs ducting..... Where's the problem?

Ventilation is very important, unless you're going to run a closed system with CO2. (complicated for you at this time)

Keeping it simple is important if you've never grown before.

All you want to do the 1st time is successfully grow out some weed to gain some experience.

Study the basic stuff...pH...germinating...seedling stage...veg. stage...watering cycles...nutrients...flushing

You'll have enough problems to deal with. Don't make it more complicated for yourself.
I've got others started in growing...had to makes lots of house calls. You have to learn online...it will be tougher.

Keep it simple. You will be a happier guy if you do. And in the end, only YOU can make decisions. Anybody teaching you won't be able to come over and look at them. Posted pictures can be very deceptive and hard to read. Read some threads where new guys ask for help from a pic and look at all the different answers they get.

Keep it simple (Are you noticing a 'theme' here?). And refer to the first 4 words in this post again.

Nobody knows everything. The whole subject of growing is enveloped in controversy. Everybody has their own ideas.

Keep it simple. For you, THAT'S a good idea.

Woody333333 everything I have seen is telling me not to vent out of the existing external vent bc of cops flying around with infrared cameras. They all seem to suggest venting hot exhaust gasses into a basement or under the house.

Yes/no/maybe?

Don't wanna jinx it but it looks like seeds made it thru customs. My question is when do they usually get snagged? If they have cleared customs and have left the postal facility there am I good?

I usually get mine before that update.... Should be soon

Might have still been snagged and they're gonna show up w a love letter..... Doubt it tho

Are you being serious? They can spot plants in a field, never heard about hot gases. They get many false alarms from chimneys?

Sorry I thought you were saying you live in the UK Woody. I hate NFL. I pretty much only watch NHL and European soccer. My favorite NFL team is obviously the Broncos.

Out here in Burgh, Co where I live and its legal to grow I guess I don't need to worry about hot exhaust gas.

And yes, I did learn a decent amount about nutes. Mainly that noobs like yours truly tend to overdo it. Lol

I grow in soil and get a lb from soil with 4. Experienced growers get more. But I run around 800w.

Anyone know a ballpark weight on A GrowBright 6" Tall Boy Inline Fan & Charcoal Filter Combo? Charcoal canister weighs around 14, but can't seem to find a fan weight. Need to know how beefy to build bracket.
