Well after looking at my yellowing plants yesterday I have decided that I need bigger pots! I have not verified it yet, but I am sure that they are root bound... The yellowing started at the bottom and is moving its way up the plants. The larger plants are showing it the most and the smaller ones aren't showing it at all.

Off to the big city again!!!!!! :wall:

I went out and pulled the pot off of the biggest plant and the roots were spun out. The wife, daughter and I split for town to do some food shopping so I grabbed eight 3.8 gallon pots and some runoff trays. I mixed up some more soil and I will up pot them in the morning.

Yes there is lime this time!!! LOL!!!

This soil consist's of sphagnum peat moss, forest compost, chicken manure, perlite, Blood meal, Bone meal, Dolomite Lime and Jobes Fertilizer. We will see if they perk up in a few days.

The wife and I headed into the room yesterday to up pot eight of the girls. Here are pics of two of them. They where all like this! (can't get the pic upright)

Here is the Tri-ploid. She is growing great and will get put in the red room soon.

For those who wonder how much damage a plant can handle, Here is the hub of the tri-ploid. Due to my Tremors I tend to hurt a plant every now and then and this one got hurt awhile ago.

Here is the mini-ploid. I topped her the other day.

Here is the Blue magoo Bi-ploid... Lots going on in this canopy :hump:

I am hoping that giving them more room in the pots will help with the yellowing.

I was really bummed when it split down the middle. Then I broke two of the branches but they healed just fine! I had the center wrapped with strips of duct tape and it healed great. Then I got rough again and it re-split. The wire was there at the time and I was freaking out!!!!

I decided to move the Tri-ploid into the flower room. I stuffed her into a corner. It is getting crowded in there!!

The Room was a mess with PM this morning so I had to do the dirty and spray! I figured I would snap a few pics while the lights were out.

It is Powdery Mildew. It starts out as small white spots here and there and can quickly cover an entire plant. My climate is perfect for it. I am having some raspberry Bacardi and coke.

It loves temps between 60 and 70 degrees. My room bounces between 50 and 78 degrees from day to night with a humidity of 40-60%. Some say it stops growing above 77 degrees. It has been way better since I stopped growing in water (dwc, flooded tube).
I have too many big plants in there right now so air movement is limited. The wife told me I am out of control... I told her I just vegged too long this time

Here is some info I copied and pasted....

"Powdery mildews are severe in warm, dry climates. This is because the fungus does not need the presence of water on the leaf surface for infection to occur. However, the relative humidity of the air does need to be high for spore germination. Therefore, the disease is common in crowded plantings where air circulation is poor and in damp, shaded areas. Incidence of infection increases as relative humidity rises to 90 percent, but it does not occur when leaf surfaces are wet (e.g., in a rain shower). Young, succulent growth usually is more susceptible than older plant tissues."

Update time!!!!

Here is the next round kickin it with the Mini-ploid. In no particular order.. AK-48, XJ-13, Blue Dream and Blue Magoo. The one on the far right is the Blue Magoo Mini-ploid.
20131022_082440.jpg

I pulled the mini-ploid out of the pot to have a looksee.. (I see the site is flipping pictures again!) Just as I thought, time to Up-pot...

20131023_135304.jpg

So I gave her a new home and got rough on the first day by topping and bending..

20131023_142702.jpg 20131023_142912.jpg 20131024_120258.jpg

Here is the big Tri-ploid!! 3 months old today!! 11th day in the red room. HEY MELISSA... SHE IS A FREAK!!!!

20131024_095435.jpg 20131024_095328.jpg

The support wire seems to be doing a great job so far LOL!!!!!

20131024_095521.jpg 20131024_095548.jpg

And what 11 days in the red room has done so far..

20131024_095622.jpg

I failed to get any pics of the AK-48 and Blue Magoo Bi-ploids.... Here are the next next round waiting to see roots. It has been cold so roots are slow to grow. The room drops to 59 degrees at night ( I know.. I need to adjust my heater) and tops out at 79 degrees during the day (AC set just right). Placing the pan on the lights makes it warm and after a couple of days I have roots in two cups ;-)

Finally!!!! LOL!!! The snow is coming so there is a ton of stuff to do outside :-(. I have a greenhouse full of dying plants that needs to be cleaned up along with the garden and flower beds. Not to mention the two big ass maple trees in the front yard that are dropping a metric ton of leaf's daily. I am also the house maid and cook so busy busy ButchyBoy....

But I will always find time for my room :bigjoint:

Flowering 2 BrandX poly seed strains

1. WHx WW pollinated with BG male
2. G13x WW pollinated with BG male. Both seeds turned out to be males, but using pollen on large WH (Melanie) and small WHx on far right. Also took some clones

Noice!!!!

How do you like those Air pots???? I like the idea of an uneven surface that will send the roots back into the soil instead of spinning out. Do they dry out fast? I am using 3.8 gallon pots and it takes 4-5 days for them to dry out enough to water again (my soil mix is a little heavy, needs coco fiber) But works out for me to go camping for the weekend without worrying about the girls.

I use mine differently. No soil- ornamental rocks + lava rocks on the bottom + hydro. This method lets me feed small amounts every 45 minutes, and my plants love it

Check out my grow for details of what I use, and why
