Just purchased my hopefully last seeds for quite a while. Been trying to find out what to settle on and finally pulled the trigger.

I'm sad :( to say I'm going to get rid of the seedlings that are in the dirt so I can get things prepared for these to arrive. They're going to end up with 8+ weeks of veg on them before 2 go in after the White Widows.

I think I've got my temps under control to be able to "hopefully" entice them to have some color.

Should be a nice big fun grow :)

White Widow 1/2. Day 24/13.
For the first time I finally watered them. They weren't low, but I figured after 3.5wks it might be a good idea to freshen them up. They seem to be responding well to my new feed mix.

Not to shabby for 24 days from seed.

After a few months of waiting thanks to covid, I got my high cfm kit in.

I like it. Seems nice and sturdy. We'll see what she's made of once we're in flower pulling 1440cfm through it.

Today is day 27 for White Widow #1. I think she's doing pretty well for almost a month. "IF" I can restrain myself and follow my plan, she still has another 6 weeks left in veg.

Day 18 for everything else.
20200722_011221.jpg

You can really start to see the difference in growth now between soil and hydro here.
Both of these are White Widows. Both 18 days old, started in the same soil, with the one being transplanted to hempy after the first 1.5wks in soil. So about 9ish days difference between soil and hydro now...

(I know my fingers are off a bit between pictures, but trust me, it's noticeable. )

GDP seeds should be here mid next week, so I'm going to use that as an excuse to flip the first widow in a weekish so I can get a GDP going.

On that note, I did another level of topping which brings the total to 9. If my math is right I should come out with 16 "tops".

Got some new "bling" for the hood too...

I got my other 4x8 set back up to use for veg because the lady and I are digging this garden we've got this summer so, I'm planning on keeping a tomato and bell pepper plant going throughout the winter. Salsa and fajitas on demand :).
Half the tent will be used for clones/veggies, the other 1/2 for the ladies to veg in. Running two dimmable 600w MH in 6" air cooled hoods.

I also LOVE spicy/hot things and I've got a horseradish plant outside that I'm digging so I figured what could be better than 3 more right???? They're only going to be inside long enough to get a foothold and then will be moved out into the garden. Fresh root was put in the dirt yesterday. Anyone down for some hot as f#ck cocktail sauce? :fire:

Our neighbors keep getting more annoying and with the way our yard slopes, an 8 foot privacy fence gives you NO PRIVACY!

So, I took the dog walking around some local wooded parks today and scored some great cuttings from a couple different evergreens that I'm going to attempt to clone and transplant into the yard next spring.

The tents are filling back up and I'm loving it:hump:. I think it's going to be really fun to have things other than just bud in here over the winter.

The bad thing is, my brain is already starting to hurt thinking about the amount of starts I'm going to have going down here come January/February timeline for next year's garden
Really starting to not regret buying 2- 4x8's, 1- 4x4' and 5 lights now...

Got to thinking about how much of a run people are going to make to get items for next year's garden last minute, so I went ahead and got a jump on it.

10"x20" - 72 site propagation tray with a 7" humidity dome

And...

A larger seedling heat mat with built in thermostat controller should be showing up mid next week :)

Thanks to a night of insomnia I got the veg tent a little more in order. I like how I was able to split my shelf up and get everything to fit the way it does.
20200726_034904.jpg
And if you're wondering about the pallets, they're for my hempy buckets to make sure I have height to get fall over to the other tent to the pump for the drainage. Plus it saves the back a little when you don't realize you've been hunched over working for too long before it's to late...

My mother plants got a little dry overnight, but besides that they don't look half bad for getting tossed in some potting soil and fed well water...

Granddaddy Purple showed up :)
20200728_130710.jpg
One went in the drink...
20200728_130749.jpg
Rest went in the seed jar...
20200728_130830.jpg
And the little one made her way to the heat mat in the veg tent for germination.

I'll be flipping White Widow #1 into flower tonight after 34 days veg from seed and 9 toppings...
20200728_134505.jpg

White Widow #2 will be moved over to the vet tent tonight and allowed to veg for another 5 weeks.
Go big or go home :)

I got the tents lined out to flip WW1 tonight. Had to get un-lazy and finally get everything up and running, but it's all coming together.
I'm just happy to see a HPS bulb burning in the flower tent again. It's been almost 2 months.

Finally took a break from playing skyrim to do a little work. White widow #1 is on day 6 of flower.
20200803_235304.jpg
Got finished putting her under a trellis right before the pictures. I plan to do a bit more LST with these than my last grow.

Granddaddy purple and white widow #2 vegging along with the others.

My clone testing mothers were showing how quickly they can munch up soil nutes, so I fed them some hempy feed and took the opportunity to cut my first set of clones.

I just did a large topping on each of them (2-3 node lengths) since they didn't have anything else large enough to cut/clone, but I want to keep these as small as possible so I figured I'd give it a try.
Not sure if it will work or not. This is my first serious try at cloning, especially with a hydro cloner...

Moms are a little cleaner looking.

Got some good advice and finally made up my mind to say fuck it and run the 2- 1kW hps in flower. So, I took a few minutes to straighten out some ducting, move a filter out of the tent and placed white widow #1 under my smaller hood. I figured I'd save the xxxl for the first 10 week veg plant. (#1 was 5 weeks veg)

Speaking of time, today is day 8 for #1. I did a bit more tucking/weaving, so she's a little pissy atm...under 750W/53K lux/74F/56RH.

Gave a feeding to WW1/2. EC 1.5 Ph 5.9.
I did a little bit of tucking on WW1. She's beginning to fill the net a bit more. Day 9.
20200807_220130.jpg
I had to swap the 315 cmh out for a 600w MH in the veg tent. WW2 is starting to grow a bit, so I supercropped last night, and got her under a net today. She still has 4 more weeks planned for veg.

So I lied....
The Granddaddy Purple ended up not being my last seed order. Just placed an order for these babies...

Pretty stoked. Never used Nirvana so interested to see how well they do. Gelato was one of my 2 strains I've been looking for. Now I just need to find a decent fem Green Crack. Kinda surprised they didn't have it.
Nice to see they take credit cards. It's and extra $6, but $44 for 5 fem seeds sounds reasonable to me.

So, probably going to have a Gelato hit the veg tent once WW2 goes into flower in a month.
