Starting the grow! Some help with seeds!

Hey guys I just got my seeds in but no light... can I start them and germinate them without it? I have a low powered blurple led strip setup I could use in the first stages of growth! I have auto's and photoperiods I believe which ones would be better to start out with as a beginner? Also how would I store the other seeds in the fridge?? thank you in advance!

They'll not germinate in light.
My sprouting regiment
1. Clean small container
2.Place seeds to be germinated in container with approx. 1/2 inch of regular hydrogen peroxide for 1 hour(this cleans aand starts to soften the seed shell)
3. After 1 hour soak in peroxide, drain peroxide and replace with clean ph'd water and allow to soak for 24 hours
4. Using the same water the seeds were soaked in, moisten a paper towel(moist or damp, not dripping) and place seeds on towel gently.
5. Fold paper towel so that it covers the seeds and pat gently to hold seeds in place.
6. Put moist paper towel with seeds into a zip close plastic bag.
7. Zip the bag closed except for a small space big enough to inflate the bag. Inflate the bag with your breath and seal.
8. Place bags in a warm light free environment(big part- NO LIGHT)
9. Wait
10. On the second day is when I start checking for rootlings.
11. Wait some more, till they are ready for their first pots.

They will germ in light, i often germ in soil and put the plant pots in the conservatory to germ. teknicly in light

you want autos to learn with in my opinion simple to grow and you will get some bud at the end. feminised seeds are best as you know there female and you wont waste money in lighting on males.
just plant your seeds in some potting soil,in those soda cups you get at mc donalds or wendys etc 16oz cups i believe, just make some holes in the bottom for drainige.

keep the soil moist but not drenched with water, a hand held spray gun is good to keep the soil moist.
they should germinate in a few days and you want toput them under the light as soon as they germ to keep them short n squat

theres realy no need to use peroxide or and paper towels, servival of the fittist when germed in soil.

you can leave the light on and wait for them to germinate, but check for heat given off by the light, you dont want to burn those baby's.

thats why i said teknickly in light. sorry a little missleading. but as long as the seeds are in soil , you can have a light on over them. in some cases the light will produce some heat which helps the seeds germinate faster.

Hey go go, I have to retract my earlier comment. I didn't get any pics, but I tried a 0 dark germination, and it worked! The only thing covering the seeds was a wet paper towel. They were in a ziploc bag and placed about 30" from a ts 600 led. They were short as hell! About a half inch tap root, open cotyledon, and primary leaves all total about an inch long. I'm trying it again so I'll try to get pics. You may have been right, I just need to replicate the results.
