Taking an indica outside in a month

Put your light on 18-6 put it out june 1st and forget about it imo
That would only work if there would be no ambient light on the plant correct? I can put the lights on a timer but there will still be spillover light from the room.

Then again it's only for indoor flowering that it needs to be absolutely light tight so hmmmm

No. I run everything from seed 18-6 I typically put then in final spot on jun 1st and they’ve never looked back. Some say it can trigger sensitive strains and im sure alot of them have grown alot more plants than me but I’ve never experienced any issues doing that, atleast not yet

Right and i think this is a similar strain to what i grew last time, def indica, pretty robust based on how many times i fucked it up last year and it still turned out fine.

All i'm saying is, i can put the light rig on 18/6 but since there are other grow lights in the room that are on 24/7 it's not gonna be in total dark for 6 hours unless i literally cover the whole thing with a tarp for 6 hours. Which i could do. So if subdued light is enough to prep the plant for daylight cycle, great, if not i'm gonna need to cover it for total dark

Your looking for 14.5 hr day length which is late may, close to the day you are planning but i wait most times june1
Ya last year i just waited until after the final frost lol, beyond that it's prob just a matter of preference.

But ya ill just put it on 18/6, even when it's outside it's still getting moonlight during the night anyway so its established it doesnt need pitch black. If just having less light can start training it for being outside

The idea imo is to prevent early flowering/ reveg which less light does again after 14.5 I personally haven’t seen issues
I'll just set a phone alarm, turn the lights off at midnight, throw a blanket over it just to be safe and turn them back on and uncover at 6 am for the next month. I can deal with less sleep for a month i don't sleep much anyway lol

Got it on a timer now @ 18/6 plus a tarp for total faux night light blockage. Gonna be cutting the light by 15 min every two days to get it down to 14.5 hours to match daylight around may 20. Def might have to repot tho lol at this rate it'll be rootbound before I can get it in the ground, hope I don't run out of room
