Yea worms are good I have a little outdoor patch situated close to where I compost the food scraps (heaps of worm activity ) put girls straight in the ground and give only water they seem to do good but that's just me trying to grow more without putting money into it haha my missus gets Abit naggy sometimes when I do spend to much on the girls she don't smoke so it kind of only benifits me although the stress relief I get from gardning/smokeing helps me be the good cunt I am haha like I haven't raised my voice in years I just don't get mad for some reason haha unless I see water out of my rain tanks being used that's for my girls but here's some pics from last year two different strains feed nothing but water and a big dose of tui pot-ash when they first start showing signs of bud and at the moment I've got a little lady soldering along through the cold in the same whole that the first pic was grown in also had just water and pot-ash but the winter weather has really given her a hard time she would've been in a tent but just didn't have the space . What are those little tents like I'm going to get one as I think it's gotta be easyer to controll then a bigger space like kepping it warm and hummid and stuff , your clones look good whole heap better than mine haha. Plants look nice aswell love how tops of the pots look covered with some undergrowth also that side lighting you notice a difference ? Have seen similar setups relatively cheap and would buy them if recommended . Man that's looks yum haha have only smoked flowers and old uncle's black gold haha no concentrates of good standard . Also Bruv hope you had a banger of a day mine was good hung out with my nephews and got them into the garden to help they loved it garden didn't haha there 3 and 2 but hey was good seeing them have fun .

OH mean, pretty sweet you got that lady to grow through winter, some nice looking bud. ye same situation with the other half, same goes with gardening and smoking, good way to relax.

I use that tui potash in my amendments when I built my soil for the current grow.
I got the tent from dicksmith for 40 bucks bro, its decent enough. using a 200w cfl(really should have less than that, but its all I could get my hands on at the time.).The undergrowth are cover crops that I chopped up up about a week ago, just helps to retain moisture and get some nitrogen into the soil. Some have grown back and its meant to draw nitrogen into the soil also.

I have seen an increase in the popcorn buds at the lower level, for the amount of watts(60)its good enough for the price.
Still prefer to smoke flower over rosin, maybe not making it rite.

ye brother, not doing much during this time just reading up on mj and gardening, watching netflix with the whanau. That's the one bro get them out into the soil, and get them interested. My daughter is keen and helps me out in the vege patch every now and again. Tryna teach her about no-till whilst learning myself.

Sup team, been stalking the forum for a bit and just stumbled on this thread. I’m just building a new system, waterfall RDWC with an aquarium chiller, I tried my first run a couple of years ago, but had no chiller and the Hawkes bay summer heat killed my res temps. I’ve only got a tiny space to work in, 1m x 3.5m but I’ve got a tent in there and have welded up a stainless drain manifold under the bucket sites. I’ll add pics this weekend when I give the project the next push.

This is the drain manifold, I had flanges laser cut to support 20litre buckets, just waiting on gasket rubber so I can punch to suit flanges and fit buckets, also got a bit happening outside the tent, building a stand for a mixing tank, as I’m using tap water but will have it constantly recirculating to evap the chlorine off, waiting on 3way valves to turn up as I also want to use the recirc pump to supply the tent recirc system when it’s time for a nute change.

Just starting to veg up a couple of potential mothers, 2 in dirt, one in liquid media, will see which ends up pumping the hardest. (The others are going out by the citrus) still ages away from being ready but if I can get a good mother established while I’m chipping away it will make the whole thing move along at a better pace when it’s time. I had these under a shitty $12 wish blurple for the last 2 weeks but they haven’t moved. I think the blurple may still be fine for the potential mother plant tho as I don’t want it pumping, just slowly ticking along while the tent flowers out

thats the one bro, loving your setup. never seen one like that with the steel tubes. Use a cfl or for your cuttings found they work real nice for clones.

I build a lot of stuff for the food/alcohol industry, everyone keeps saying keep hydro setups clean, so i figured a food grade purged stainless pipework setup would be a good start, planning to add an automatic CIP cleaning process at some stage too.


I'd not considered a CFL, I'll look into it, i had been searching for small LED's, (obviously better quality then the shit blurple)
hopefully I'll get some progress on the mixing tank today. Happy Fathers Day anyhow chaps.

Who is using Mycorrhizal in there grows?
Do you use it for soil and coco coir ?
Are you using NZ made or imported?
just curious , have done few with and with out and interested in others views... have found a few NZ made products with a 100 propagules/ml which is very good but finding out what fungi is a different story, alot of NZ products are made for orchards and commercial crops and not tailored for cannabis ( I dont think many are around the world just a sale pitch for a lot of companys)

I’ve just ordered my first lot, I tried Seedsman, but couldn’t sort out the crypto shit, they only accept MasterCard so they went in the too hard basket, ended up ordering through Attitude, put the order in on Tuesday, so will see if they turn up, was $150 for 5 feminised seeds plus whatever freebies they claim to have thrown in.
I had seeds from 10years ago that I planted and most still germinated? They were just in a plastic container in the shed.

ye bro I use it on pretty much everything veges etc. I only use in soil, think it comes from waiheke isl.

use paypal for debit card @ seedsman, safe as - use stealth or super duper stealth - order small - place 2-3 orders with 3 packs same seeds if your lucky you get both..
put old seeds in a glass of water for a couple of days ( room temp in the dark) ,if they dont crack give them a light scuff with a emery file( or a light squeeze after been in the water sometimes they will split) and put in paper towel/media - works for me - have a lot of old seeds ..
