Guys there seems to be tons of clone swapping that kind of stuff between members in other countries, but haven't seen the same kind of posts for NZ. Are people open to trading or otherwise making some of these sweet strains available to folks that are interested here in godzone? Cheers fellas and feel free to pm a reply if that works better for you :)

Oh nice that's good to hear yea I'm pretty impressed with it but is my first led so can't really compare growth rate to much but it seems to be doing the trick and difference in power usage has been massive am curently looking at setting up a propagation/veg tent and may look at using quantam boards . And thanks yea there tasty buds man . Yea I reakon trading clones is key as there is limited access to seed banks. Am located in Auckland if anyone is ever interested in trades haha but more of a community vibe and a bit more action in this thread would help gain trust and find good people to trade/mingle with safely surely I'm not the only one who thinks police are watching and making accounts ?

I met up with a member from RIU in wellys, good c**t, hooked me up sm nugs while i was on holiday and had some good korero. I know its not always like that, but was pretty mean to meet a fellow hobbyist from the forum.

Have always kept a small grow due to the thought of the police haha we're I stay get the chopper flying almost everyday and kind of get worried about there heat vision stuff I have a pretty cold shed with a 1200x1200 tent that get pretty warm also with work and family commitments would be Abit tyering trying to keep a bigger set up nice and happy. And yup sometimes things can get one sided have had that happen when lending gear for people to use with a agreement that always ends up being cut short. That's what we need man more meeting up and bud smoking together grow the family haha the 420 community is we're it's at also would like to know what temps and humidity people are aiming for through veg and flower ? Also any D.I.Y humidifier ideas would be appreciated .

My views- 4 x 4 tent in a shed/garage I would go autos 3 months harvest 5 plants every 3 months, if using led(boards with drivers ) tent temp would sit approx 26 degrees and plants in flower you would need a dehumidifier set with ink bird control set to 53 % RH- I dont think there is a need for a humidifier in flower as plants sort themselves.
But if you need to raise RH with no humidifier you can use a wall paper hanging tray with water and hang a towel in it in front of the passive intake of the tent with a small fan as the towel will wick up the water - just keep an eye on it as can over do it . Also fine mist spray
thats my ramble for the night fat dobbie time :bigjoint:

Forgot to add - Lights on 18 hours turn off hottest part of day depends were you are but approx 1pm off- on 7pm heaps with heat in garage..

Thanks for the info man so I would love to do autos but have been unsucessful finding a good legit source . So at the moment Im happy with my 4x4s performance its a 4 month cycle give or take 1 and Abit veg the rest flowering similar to what you stated but using photos not autos 3 zips per plant give or take sometimes more I really think the genetics play a crucial part . The humidifier is for when I start a separate veg tent haha at the moment during veg I'm in there every so often giving it mist to keep humidity up will deffinately be using your tip next time or yea may look at Amazon .

hey pat, skilling up on the mj, loads of time for reading and research.in the garden, getting ready for spring. All the berries starting to bud now. blueberries, raspberries etc. Harvesting some broccolini and spinach, chuck some straw over the leftovers and start again for summer, when the corn are ready.

pretty quite around the streets though. everyone's pretty much doing the rite thing, wearing masks, social distancing. kinda like lockdown to be honest can fluff around and get shit done at home, lax out with the whanau.

Sounds lovely ! really hoping the weather comes around so i can get out in the vege garden fair bit of work to be done mostly cleanning up haha quite enjoy sitting with the crops for a morning cuppa or a afternoon beer and yes gaining knowledge is key kind of why i like this site theres a whole lot of good info in some of these threads . Am also planing on d.i.ying a 4 bucket D.W.C system for my next run but am still contemplating weather or not ill be able to keep the girls happy enough with my limited knowledge on hydroponics but plan on doing some hard research over the next week or two to make my mind up will make the system anyway as itll give me something to do . Am a little gutted at the moment as my thermostat broke for my clone tent and endded up cooking them so is going to set me back a little on time for my next run but oh well live and learn . am gonna have a bit of a smoke and head to bed now have a good night brother . arana.jpg bit of a photo of some smoke i got to try of a mate am looking at getting a few clones to pheno hunt a mother to keep around for future runs

mean bro likewise, love early mornings with a coffee and chilling with the plants. Cant give much advice im fairly new to indoor and have never done DWC. I've done soil with chemicals, as well as coco and perlite DTW before but currently on my 4th continuous run in no-till fabric pots.

yep getting them clones ready for outdoor as well, aloe vera is great for cloning I've found recently(its old-school as though).mix up some tap water and squeeze some pulp from the aloe branch/leaf into your water. Take your cuttings and leave it in that solution for 24hrs. grab another leaf/branch and stab your cutting into the soft gel/membrane stuff of the aloe, then just put your cutting in your medium or whatever. So far found it to be really effective and cost nothing.

thats a nice lookin bud what's that strain?
hopefully your clones make a comeback and keep us posted on your pheno hunting.:peace:bongsmilie

How's the no till gardning going have looked into it a little bit as it suits my style but no experience there want to try D.W.C as I believe once you get it dialed in the growth rate of the plants is pretty hard to beat . Haha may have to ask my neighbor for a few cuts of her aloe plants as I like the idea of free, cloneing gel/powders can get a bit costly . Strain is supposedly RUNTZ but Im not to sure haha the dude I get it from is always naming his stuff so hard to tell but i Google searched that strain last night and does look similar but that's pretty much bro science haha tasty as fuck though little bit fruity with a pungent skunk tast hard to explain . And yea man will do hopefully get on top of my clone cubarrd this week needs a few improvement also probaly won't be able to get the new clones till after lockdown but yea may post some photos and that once all sorted

Hey mate, organic no-till is a steep learning curve for me, but the benefits are really starting to show now that the soil is building more microbes, and the worm population has been growing more and more. I've had the ladies on blumats for the entire last grow and have pretty much dialed it in. Haven't had too many mishaps with it. seem to always have a slow start though with the ladies in no-till, but once there established there pretty sweet.
I've read about or seen pictures on here about that strain sounds good and looks good also. Nice bongsmilie .

here's some pics of the clones from gelato, 10 days old, nothing brilliant but getting there. And I chucked in a random fem seed unsure of what it is but will be a mother for awhile hopefully. Its that one that not in the tray.

IMG_0447.JPG

they were cut from these, but one(front right) is a seed from the old man that im growing out(didn't clone it).
