Yeah the pro pots are a good system it does come with some downsides though, mainly with roots growing into the return hoses & flooding my room out but Im on top of that now. Canna boost is real pricey! Im not sure how much a litre bottle is but I don’t remember getting much change out of $800 when I get a 5 litre drum. Ive always used canna, I used to get outstanding results just running canna a+b vega & flores with no other additives. The last few years I splash out & run the whole canna range I still get outstanding results I honestly couldn’t say If the results are any better or not, but I trust the canna brand & I like using their range with their grow guide on the website makes me feel like a scientist

Yeah bro ordered some a&b flores, pk and boost. You're right, litre is 170, 5L around 660 she right up there alright. Will see how this first grow yeilds and stock up from there. The calculators they have for nutrients are mean takes all the guess work out for sure.
Yeah I'm a little worried about my lines too. Guessing you have 19mm set ups like myself? Just a very basic rdwc for 20L buckets. Flipping in a week and roots are already pumping so pretty happy with my diy set and first indoor grow so far. Will just have to keep an eye out on blockages too.

Yeah 19mm returns. I split the 16 sites into 2 sides, each side of 8 pots paired together with 19mm cross fittings into a 19mm trunk then the both 19mm trunks tee into a 32mm main return to the res

@ShōGun_NZ I recommend using Cannazym also in rdwc. It breaks down anything dead organic that shouldn’t be in the system or around the root zone. Its a must for me as have 2 sets of substrate (clayballs) that I cycle for a couple grows each, the Cannazym will dissolve any leftover roots that haven’t flushed out. Its hard to get rid of 400 litres of clay balls every couple months, i run out places to spread it pretty quick

Shit! That is a fair bit. so you're just filling the whole top buckets with clay balls, and using the top feeder rings? Yeah I'm just using little 160mm net pots. Good to know I can reuse the balls again. Sweet looking into cannazym now. Like I said earlier I'm on acc right now so been good to have the extra time to put in the tlc for this first grow. Really enjoying it. all the help has been really appreciated!

Yep 27 litre top buckets full & feeder rings running 24/7. My plants would pull the net pots out & fall to the floor before flowers have even shown

Hope you guys in the lower south are all good... my tanks are full, have shut down grow rooms for nest 3-4 weeks to sort out the farm and clear a few slips/ tracks/roads ...

Received an order of Beans, another 25 x Strawberry Cough Autos(Advanced Seeds) and 10 x Fruit Punch Autos( Heavy Weight Seeds) so this should last a while.
Going to do a side by side grow in same room but different Nutrients- will grow 3 x plants with Megacrop 1 Part and 3 x plants with Cyco A&B + Potash ( same as grow pot cheaply) will start this in approx 4 weeks - will be using the GLA Boards 2 x double kits and meanwell drivers (5x5 room), Canna CocoCoir with Mycro Hort Mycorrhizal ( which I regard as the bees knees for all gardening ).good times ahead ...

Not me but I do hear they put out some pretty good gear. I installed a heat pump to keep temps down & run a 200mm ‘vents’ branded inline exhaust fan with auto temp/speed control, with a filter & inline silencer cant hear a thing outside

Hey bro, where did you get your inline silencer from? Have not seen many/any reviews on ones that truly work and the cost seems excessive. but as stealth is currently my biggest issue I need to invest in security. cheers.

ye bro all those other fans are old tech. The infinity tents are quality too and comes with a mounting plate for your controller, I reckon there better than those overpriced gorilla tents. for delivery and being sent from the states your better off buying your tents and fans from these guys, all there gear is really well built. herbal house said they were in talks with ac infinity, they'll jack the prices though maybe.

what's HGK? ye I just scored them from their website, took like 2 weeks. I seen herbals had just brought in some new fans, imo they are all to loud and are over-priced. I just let them know about ac infinity, and they said they were already talking to them.

yea herbal house are probably the best. growshop.co.nz is pretty good also. the nz stores stock heapsa overpriced old tech, some of its good but there really isn't much variety. Got most of my lights from herbals, but have found tons of decent ones that are way cheaper on aliexpress, just have to wait ages.

AC Infinity for environment cant go wrong- go bigger than you need/std control dont need there control unit , I swear by InkBird controllers( order direct) cheap as chips
Nutrients- Mega Crop Part 1, easy to use simple cant go wrong

yep there lights are sweet, got some of there side lights(buddies).working pretty well at getting the undersides, and edges of the canopy.

Yeah bro I had to switch to edibles to give the lungs a rest I use the Ardent Flex to decarb and then infuse coconut oil or butter. Put 2-3 oz in and then once its done, strained and cooled I take it a teaspoon at a time. Fucking awesome! You can take the leftover plant material, let that cool and eat it too for zero waste. As long as you do a reasonable job of removing sticks and stems before you decarb and infuse you can do a lot with the leftover plant material. Teaspoon at a time or make granola bars/rum balls with coconut... That way the fibre from the herb seems right at home in your baking. Not hard to eat - at all - and potent AF.

The Rosin press is a lot simpler than it looks and you'll figure it out in no time. It's a lot of fun actually. Likewise playing around with a dab rig and the various tools? Hours of fun await haha

I've seen those Ardent machines, pretty cool. Gotta beat ruining herb in the oven lol! Don't forget that you don't need heat to decarb though, solvent and/or low ph also do the job. When I want a quick and dirty edible buzz I either make extract with acetone, cap and swallow or just extract 2g dry flower into full cream milk with minimal heat, with a little extra cream and some chocolate powder. Strain.
Drink. Works wonders! I have large tolerance you may get away with 1g, I used to just swallow 1g of hash in the uk where it's available everywhere. Also works wonders!
