I've looked through quite a few posts, forums, etc. and I know a few people that find stuff other ways. i have gathered all i can that represent banks that are for real as far as I know. i have ordered for a few of them. namely, NASC, seedsherenow, and multiverse. all are just fine. I know others that have ordered from some of what i have found, but other are just those that seem legit and also have decent reps. if someone disagrees, it would be nice to know why.

I have a table with the list, links and comments about each site. not sure i can post that. here is the list for now (edit, make sure these accept credit card, for example strainly shouldn't be here):
Edit: updated list of vendors (not all verified, but all researched or red'd by folks here, it would be good to have some sort of commentary on each. i can compile a summary report. for example Get Seeds Righ Here has tons of Ethos options and some are cheap, but that is about it.

My most recent purchases have been from Yeti Seeds. So far their seeds have been great. Not a huge selection but pretty cool strains.

Strainly

i wouldn't include strainly. that is not really reliable. i can't do a charge back....can't rec personally. it's a forum not a vendor. hard sell on HCSI. sending cash in the mail is dumb. there is another that takes only paypal or zelle...letting that one slide. at least they have a standard policy.

i wouldn't include IG or strainly in this. they need to be proper companies where you have recourse/credit card/chargeback/etc. options. there probably does need to be a list of good strainly contacts and good contacts on IG, but the risk level for those is way higher than say NASC or GLG.

i have mixed feeling about most of the suggestions for being very poor quality in website, payment method, inventory or prices. A lot of these seem like the reaction of an overzealous seed buyer who now needs to sell his 10k in seeds he will never be able to pop.

when the cheapest pack you sell is over 100 for reg or the first 5 breeders have all out of stock that should be a disqualification. having to contact by email you so we can help them commit tax fraud is also bullshit. AK and HCSI, that is you.

the top of the list is more legit than the bottom. lol.

I think you are misinformed. This has nothing to do with tax fraud. It has to do with the fact that merchant accounts will not deal with this industry. Mom and pop companies like csi cannot afford to lose out of things like chargebacks, disputes, and merchant companies that decide to just steal your money because seed sales are against company policies. I have a small glass pipe company and I’ve had thousands of dollars stolen because I wanted to take credit cards. Companies like csi and AK also make it more than worth your trouble for having to post your payments

The chargebacks protect the consumer from fraud. One of the great benefits when dealing with small online vendors. Who knows about the tax situation, but everyone else figured out how to use an online pay system. Against,

@Spindle818 is right tho. The merchants won't allow it. Show me one US seedbank that doesn't have some lousy Chinese CC processor. I trust those less than anything. It's jsut asking to get your CC# stolen.

I prefer using crypto where I can. Otherwise I'm perfectly happy to do business with the reputable ones like JBC via email. I mean he goes out of his way to give you payment options, so long as you keep it discreet. It's not about tax fraud, it's just if the merchant finds out, they will shut him down.

Ive been buying seed since you ould send Nevil cash in Holland in the mid 80s, and Ive yet to be ripped off.

I myself also prefer to send cash for seed purchases. Im in an unfriendly state, and dont want seed transactions on my Debit Card. To easy to track.

I would also rather deal with AKBeanBrains Direct than through a vendor, as he is much much more generous with free seeds than any seed vendor. Many times Ive bought $200 worth of seeds from him, and got 35 free seeds, and when I asked, he gave me the free seeds I asked for.

Once I ordered 2 packs of the NL5 x Haze, and asked for more of the same for freebies. He sent me 15 MORE seeds on the NL5 x Haze above and beyond the original order. AND he gave me 20 other free untested seeds he wanted feedback on. So I ordered
20 seeds originally, and got back 35 free seeds.
SKKB will always get my business, and not to mention he has some of the best genetics available.

Same for The Green Stash. I ordered 20 of the NL5, and they gave me 20 freebies. And the freebies were more of the NL5 I asked for.

That’s exactly how I lost my merchant account. The package was delivered with signature which was required. The consumer said he never received the package. When I showed him as well as the merchant account the delivery details, he told the bank that we had sent “illegal goods” (glass water pipe) 2 weeks later we lost our account

Same here. I sent cash to cannabis culture in ‘93 and it took 3 months to get the seeds, but I got them. Csi is super generous with cash also. My last order was for 21 seeds and I ended up with 76 total

well....i left CSI on there (and some of the IG/strainly stuff that seemed to check out), but i still don't think that is the same as there are less options as a consumer with him. he just has a good internet repuation. though i have to 'trust' online folks....that swarm anytime you mention CSI. also, it's expensive...so not objectively better as folks continue to imply. if you want chem, and a few other oldies but goodies he has you covered i guess. better prices or smaller packs with proper method of payment and he could get my money lots of times.

the issue with the merchant is bullshit. literally every other distributor figured it out.

buying hemp is perfectly legal in the US for anyone concerned about that.
